Hi,

I am looking for a class which is not that hard to play in BGs. I want to be able to take some beating but to dish out if necessary. I ve got a lv 50 stamblade and i am currently leveling a magsorc (Vampire), stamwarden and magDK, all around 30-40.
(i dont really like the playstyle of templar so far, dont know why)

i tried both magDK and stamwarden in BGs, both by far not good equipped, no set bonus, so quite average. I feel that my magDK could have more pressure on single targets, but my stamwarden can take a bit more, because of better healing.
the alcast pvp builds dont have gap closers for the stamwarden, is this common?

my magsorc is build after xynodes vampire build but i am missing some essential skills and passives. And i dont have those sets so currently i cant really do BGs with my magsorc with that build (invigorating drain, bomb, …., high ultimate generation).

of all those classes, what do you think would be, well equipped with sets, but not maelstrom/master weapons, a good class which can survive some 1vX and perhaps kill one, and not in the hand of the best player? :-)

From those options I would focus on stam-warden for the playstyle you're looking for.

put on bloodspawn and bone pirate jewels belt gloves.

then equip a good five piece heavy the remaining armor. popular choices - impreg / ravager / fury / 7th legion / clever alch

go sword and board and 2 hander.

use your snb bar for buffs and 2h bar for dmg. you can tank alot of dmg with the tree ult on your snb bar and when you're ready you can dish alot of dmg on your 2h bar using a timed burst of sub assault, reverse slice, and dawnbreaker of smiting.

with shimmering shield u can keep the ranged sorc meta at bay. it really gives you everything you need. a great group buff kit in bg's, good dmg, and ability to tank some dmg too.

    have fun.

I've been told Nightblade or sorcerer are the best for that. Though I've seen plenty of Dragon Knights who seem to fit the bill as well.

I would not recommend Templar, so it's just as well you don't really like their play style. In my opinion they are weak in PvP. There's a reason Templar Slayer was the first kill achievement I got.
