Stamina DPS build, solo playing, pve/pvp

I want to create a stamina dps build for solo playing, pve priority (but if is possibile to pvp too) no stamblade.Which race, class and setup should i choose? I think about stamina dragonknight, bow + 2h, Redguard. What do you think?

For Solo PVE, you simply will not beat a Stam Sorc. It is far and away the easiest VMA clear, and you can easily solo just about any overland content, and any normal dungeon that doesnt have a mechanic requiring two people. They have the best AOE and the best passive self heals. There is also no better class to break into endgame DPS as stamina character. You wont see many stam sorcs atop the trial leaderboards these days, but if you want to learn to play stam, this is absolutley the place to start.

Redguard is the best PVE race and best all around race. For PVP, you could also make arguments for orc, bosmer, imperial, argonian, but Redguard would be my first choice.

Stam DKs are just not in a great spot at the moment if I am being honest. They are behind sorcs in AOE, they are behind NBs and Templars in single target, and in PVP, everything they can do, another class can frankly do a bit better. Stam DK would be my lowest on my list in terms of a recommendation.

I will point out that Stam Sorc can feel a little rough out of the gate. Once you get hurricane and crit surge, it will be a world of difference. I would make sure you use blood thirst and bloodcraze early on for the heals. Once you get surge, you can go to rending slashes, shrouded daggers or the psijic spammable.

As much as I want to, I can't recommend stamina Dk at the present. Though zenimax finally acknowledged the class issues so who knows, maybe it will get better in the next 3 or 6 months lol.

For the present moment I suggest stamina templar for a hard hitting 2h/bow pve build. I find stamplar to be a really fun class despite having some issues.

People are saying stam sorc is better than stam dk..maybe in pve..But in pvp a stam Dk imo is a lot better than a stam sorc. You can hop into legend discord and ask the main people who play stam sorc and stam dk and 99% of them will say stam dk is not as bad as people make them out to be. In pvp at least. I have no idea about pve.

Honestly, as stam players go, I think we are debating who is in last place. Haha.

For me, the order for best all around stam players for PVP would be as follows: NB>Warden>Templar>>Stam Sorc>= DK. You are probably splitting hairs on the last two. In good hands, I might give an edge to a DK, but stam sorc is good for Solo BGs and and probably has an easier learning curve with their heals and mobility. Templar is also a weird one to rank, as the good ones are really f'ing good.

For PVE, the order is: NB>Templar>Sorc>Dk>Warden. And that is trying to factor more than just raw damage.
