Magicka sustain and damage sets

Hey folks, I've been poking around and can't seem to find anything quite up to date but could someone point me to a list of magicka sustain and damage sets?

I'm aware of that list. It's a total list but I was looking for something like Sustain: sets a,b,c,d...; damage: x,y,z...

I'm not necessarily after anything specific, just looking to up my knowledge of the game and magicka sets. I'm currently getting my magDk through vMA and am relying on BSW+Julianos paired with Skoria but I'm struggling a bit with sustain on stage 6.

I'm also getting my mag blade together for a vMA run and am curious what else I can run with Mothers Sorrow, besides Julianos.

If you go through the list, anything that increases magicka regen, reduces cost, or can proc a resource return will help your sustain.

Anything that increases max magicka, spell crit, spell damage, debuffs enemies, or can proc damage can help your damage output.

Re: specific sets, Beardimus pointed out the go to magicka sustain options for sets.

Sounds like you have a good grasp on damage sets already, but master architect and mantle of siroria or other ones that can be good for a magblade. If you’re using force pulse instead of soul swallow or elemental weapon, scathing mage and mechanical acuity are also decent (but don’t run mechanical acuity with mother’s sorrow).

Kagrenac’s hope is always the first that comes to mind when I want something that straddles sustain and damage (shacklebreaker is also good for this).

Someone might have an actual list, but doing the investigation yourself can help you understand your build better (e.g. infallible aether isn’t good for a light attack-focused magblade, but for a heavy attack-focused magdk it’s a decent choice. On the flip side, master architect isn’t as good for a magdk because they have expensive ultimates, whereas magblades can get good use out of it with soul harvest. Moondancer probably isn’t the best choice for vma because you have a finite amount of synergies— and idek if the sigils proc it).

Also, in terms of vma, I think it’s the speed Sigil that increases your regen as well. Could be another strategy to look at.
