I was wondering when the next free trial is set for.

I have a long distance friend who would really like to try the game out a bit before purchasing and was just wondering.

I suppose the second option would be to find a way to "gift" them the game itself.

Anyone?

    Probably sometime around November. I would say if you can find the base game on sale just buy it, usually goes on sale for 10 bucks.

    ESO has free-to-play weekends every now and then but afaik they don’t run on a schedule.

    And there was one relatively recently (a month ago, maybe?) so it'll likely be awhile again.

    Don't understand. Making fun at Zenimax or the posters? If Zenimax, they do give things for free. They also let people play the game for free, just a few weeks ago. At the poster, I don't get the joke.

    ESO has had a few free trials. They will again. No laughing required.

    This has been in addition to the free ESO+ trial we just had.

    Yay, +6 crates for me
    I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.
