Using a macro keyboard for non-combaty things

I recently got a keyboard with a few macro keys, and I wanted to ask if it's allowed to use the keys for the following functions ingame: I would like to use the keys 1-5 to make me jump between guildchats - i.e. they would type <enter> /g1 <enter> etc. with a single keypress. Furthermore, I would like to use the last key to print my guilds recruitment/adverticement post on zone chat with a single keypress, instead of the cut/paste technique I use now. Is this allowed or will it fall under cheating/using machine assisted keypresses which would result in me getting banned?

Alcest✭✭✭not allowed(there was official response from ZOS about it, try to search it). but i've never heard anyone got ban for using macroses even in combat pve/pvp0

noob in denial✭✭✭They are tolerated. But, i suspect, mostly because the ball is in zenimax's court and they are incapable of finding a reasonable solution for this. So you can use them in PVP / PVE aswell if you wish, atleast until they take a firm stance about it.0
