This is very true. But then let’s be honest about PvP for a second. There’s a whole basket of crutch skills/sets that make PvP miserable. RP and Sloads are just two. Spin to win is bs, lethal arrow, major defile in general in CP including sets that apply it, proc damage sets in no CP, bubbles etc. Theres a whole big pile of stuff that could be removed from PvP that would make life better.

I literally cannot fathom how rune cage got out of the PTS in its current form. I legitimately question the talent or effort of the so-called "balance team" here at ZoS.
I learned to endure/mitigate Sloads and survive.
Rune cage is instant, from like 40+ meters near a keep, cant see it coming, cant block, cant dodge, does damage, cant break as its a broken CC.
All of that and the devs think the skill is totally fine! Just needs a small damage nerf.

Duh this is because of animation cancel. You don't get to see the animation when its cancelled. Every single player in PvP has died to this crap I see it every single day. Its time animation cancelling was correctly fixed so that, and try and stay with me here "THERE IS NO @$*@#%&#% REASON TO HAVE A COSMETIC ANIMATION FIRE AFTER THE SKILL DOES. NONE. 0"

Lol bro they aren’t even nerfing it this patch. Gonna have to endure another 3-4 months of rune cage cheese burst only for zos to say, “we will address this in a future patch”. My butt.
