What proc is this?

I've seen this rocky AOE in BG's and now in Cyro but I'm not sure what set causes it?

I was thinking maybe Pillar of Nirn or Domihaus? I've never actually used those procs so I'm just guessing here.

It's the rocky AOE in the corner of the below screenshot.

Yea Domihaus was my first guess but since I've never actually used that 2 piece set I wasn't sure.

Does 2 piece Domi have any real use in PVP?

Yes, but not as much as other sets. The damage boost is nice if you can afford to stay within your circle, but other sets (like kena) can give you more. The circle itself can also be useful since it discourages people from crossing it, and the dot should(?) reveal gankers trying to sneak up on you.

Yea I just looked into the set some more. I didn’t realize you could control which procs, the fire or the earth. Thought it was random.

I’ve heard complaints for a while now that the fire ring sucks because it doesn’t damage enemies inside the circle, but only in the “ring” which is terrible design imo.

Does the earth proc damage inside the circle though? Or is it still just the “ring”? The game puts an unfriendly red AOE inside that circle for the earth proc at least but I’m not sure if it matters.

That looks like Standard of Might's rocks at an odd angle tbh.

That is definitely the Domihaus earth proc. And no, the rocks work the same as the fire -- only the outer ring damages enemies.

Man that design is just so bad. I mean aesthically and thematically I always liked the idea of the set. But I never bothered trying it because I’ve always heard how bad the proc is. So I was surprised to actually see it, let alone a few times in PVP. Like maybe there was more to it and I should look again.

    Guess not. :/

You know those shards that the stone atronachs and Domihaus himself spawn under you in that dungeon? The spiky rocks that explode at your feet after a second? It's pretty much exactly that, but maybe a bit smaller radius.

So sad Domihaus is so crappy, the 1pc is great for PvP but the 2pc leaves so much to be desired. If it had a snaring effect that eventually rooted enemies, it would be a great utility set for both PvP and PvE as Tanks would greatly appreciate the extra CC.

I've never understood why they left domihaus as it is right now. Feedback was immediately that the 1 piece was good, but the 2 piece wasn't. Proc damage is low and very narrow and the weapon/spell damage is only as much as a 1 piece under almost ideal circumstances...
