calunda lacquer

Is doing the Summerset daily REALLY the only way to get calunda lacquer? So far this is the only way I've seen to get it and that just seems ridiculous. Especially since it takes 2 lacquer to make ONE piece of Summerset furniture and you only get ONE from the daily...and even that isn't every time. I suspect this may be just another of ZO$' ploys to herd us into the cash shop but would like to be sure.

Just keep buying mine. I do the dailies and sell it 3k a pop. You can find my stuff at amazing deals of nirn in daggerfall.

I'm trying to get all the motifs. So the money that comes my way is going there.

Just read the very first PTS Patchnotes, since weeks we know that Calunda will be dropping more frequently after the 15th when Wolfhunter drops plus you need only one not two anymore. My Tradeguilds have warned players not to buy any ingredienst now, same with Jewelry.

There is a very easy way to obtain culanda lacquer if you do a simple search in the forums here.

I searched under the term "calunda laquer" and came across the post detailing that you can use mimiic stones to make Summerset motif items and then decon them with about a 50% return on the calunda laquer. That's... not a thing I'm really excited about doing.

That's good news. I still just really dislike that it isn't like any other style material, like the high elf or daedra hearts. They've made it wayyyy too scarce.

Just decon all the sapiach gear you get I have like 20 of them and I haven't even done more than 10 of the summerset dalies.

Please tell me in the current environment of the outfit overlay ... what are mimic stones useful for?

And, it’s more than a 50% return if the decon passive in the craft is fully maxed. Exact same rate as deconning Sapiarch pieces.
