Remove from group function resulted in me missing story

When a dungeon is completed the ‘remove from group’ function should be disabled.

I completed a quest for a DLC dungeon I never got round to doing the other day. I really enjoyed the story, and when I handed in the quest there was a twist and something started to happen but, I missed it all because of the auto kick timer.

Yes, on reflection, I should’ve informed the group at the start so someone could stay behind but, they’re not really obliged to do so. I know why the auto kick timer was introduced - due to kicked players staying in the dungeon causing havoc. However, I think the auto kick timer should be disabled when the dungeon is completed (or maybe extended at the very least). In some other instances, I’ve almost missed obtaining the skill point for the quest entirely.

    Like you say, maybe you should have told the group that you were doing the story quest. But I think maybe the kick timer shouldn't apply to players in dialogue with nps at the end of the dungeon. Once dialogue is complete, out they go.

    Or maybe you shouldnt get kicked from a dungeon when the group is abandoned after completion.

    How about a 'leave dungeon' dialogue when you are no longer in a group and the dungeon is clear?

    I suppose that would allow people to still be removed or kicked during the run but not booted from dungeon when it is complete and people are trying to hand in quest. It is super annoying missing a skill point or quest hand in.
