Is the Trove Scamp in IC bugged?

I can not find any trove scamps in their locations, spent a few hours on that (AD and EP sides). Only saw one cunning scamp. And other people also say they do not see any trove scamps at all after a few days of searching!
I spent a lot of time waiting on some regular spots and got nothing, room kept resetting, bosses spawned, but no scamp at his usual route.

So does anyone else have that problem? The event ends soon and I can not get the achievement because of...what? bug? incredibly low spawn rate? changed spawn locations?

I killed two cunning scamps before I got my trove scamp. Took about a half hour, give or take.

Ep. cunning in spawn two and three, then tribe at spawn 1.

I have read in multiple places online that the AD side is bugged. I went to EP side and saw 3 in a row before I finally managed to catch one. They were right where the guide said they’d be and spawned right when they were supposed to.

Ad scamps have been bugged since forever. Find a buddy, and camp the DC or EP spawns. EP are best cuz they are close together.

I’ve gone down twice. Once to get mine and a second time to get one for a pal. They spawn ep side reliably.

Are these scamps only in the sewers or anywhere in IC?

My AD templer found the skamp in about 2 hours. Was on the normal route from second spawn point.

Only in the sewers in specific spawn spots. Google “Trove scamp farming” and you’ll find the spawn spots. Not hard to do just a bit of a wait. Bash it first to interrupt it; so it won’t get away lol.

Finally got it after many hours of searching

I got a group of us blue together and we went to ebonheart's side in the sewers and there is a spot near the entrance point from above that is harena hypogeum up in memorial district. Enter into the sewers from that point and follow the path and when you enter the big room head right and keep going forward, if you see the double wooden spikes that is about where he spawns. When I did it we saw reds there and we just ducked till they left, one stayed behind so we tested the red to see if that red would leave and they were after the achievement as well. Had only one of us to confirm if they were friendly or not and they didn't attack so some of us (myself as well) revealed themselves to the lone player... yeah scared them but assured them we wouldn't attack intentionally unless attacked. Slowly but surely that red knew there were a lot of us there. Long story short took us like 20 minutes and the right scamp showed up and we all got the achievement. Red as well. We of course all left peacefully, red included. Even made a friend out of that red as well, and people say there is no honor in pvp : 3

Ad scamps are not bugged. I got 2 back to back just 2 nights ago.

Cant kill the scamp at Ad side ,he takes no damage from me, i must go to the Ep side

Scamps spawned fine on the AD side (Vivec), Just need to know the spawns

That's weird but I saw him there, in that big room close to AD base, the one that has 2 separated parts. I saw him in both parts, but it was only in Vivec campaign, for some reason 2 other campaigns that I tried had no trove scamp for me

He spawns in Shor but he just disappears after a short run. Bashing doesn't stop it and he doesn't do the port animation.
