For stamplar. How important is + or - 8 k resistances? Will a player notice big difference?
Context: currently I use dw/2h and 2heavy/5medium (Bloodspawn, Fortified brass, Bone pirate) and currently its 23k spell and 20k phys resistance. With bs proc ~30k/26k. Nonetheless I die like a fly to more than 1 enemy or against good enemy (because I lack the skill). But I feel I lack the punch too - even on situations where I have the upper hand. Should I trade Fortified for Ravager (I could swap rings and some pieces and stay 2h/5m). In that case my resistances goes down to 15/12k. Will I feel naked in the field or its ok? I dont use shuffle (I cleanse myself – and why would anyone spend hundreds of thousands on outfits only to see himself black all the time).
Fow now I have 2100 sta regen and 2400 weapon dmg – aaand I have a feeling I have to increase the later, but not sure how (too many times I went into win situation against, lets say, sorc, putting craze on the target, potl, javelin, DB, spam jabs and STILL he stays alive with ~10% hp, keeps jumping and claps his hands with the staff (lol not sure what skill he uses) and this goes forever, my jabs cant finish him..until he pops tripot again and Im dead from sloads or zaan (yea, I got hit yesterday with 10k zaans several times with all my brasses on and 1500 crit res).
What would you do in my case? Stay like this or go offensive?
P.S. Im starting to notice the situations where I should I go in and take the kill, I know my burst, I know how to survive and healup, but still cant finish a proper enemy. I play templar for the last month, purely PVP in BG, got to leitenant yesterday. Not sure where I stand on the food chain

You mean stay 2h/5m and swap fortified for seventh instead of ravager?

No I mean drop 5 medium. You have 2H for Forward Momentum, your a Stamplar so you have no mobility anyway. 7th is 500 Weapon Damage instead of 630 But pretty much StamDen, Stamplar, and StamDK are all best in Heavy. 7th and Fury are your two Heavy Armor weapon damage options
Well, to answer your questions;
A - Will you feel 8k resistance difference?
YES. That is about 15% more damage taken. 8k is the difference between heavy armor and light armor, more or less.
B - What is the right amount of resistances?
IMPOSSIBLE to answer. Depends on your playstyle, skill level, class etc.
But based on your description, your real problem is that you lack damage. You need to pump that wep damage up to 3-4k buffed.

What about 20% stam regen, 12% weap damage and 20% less roll cost (I vigor and roll so often). Heavy armor gives ~3000 more resistances, also health regen and other minors buffs, which Im not sure i must take instead of those serious bonuses from medium..For DK or warden I would go heavy for sure, but stamplar issues with stamina gives me headache even now..
