Replace one of the morphs of Bolt Escape with a "pull" ability for Stam Sorcs, similar to DK Chains. I saw one of the guards in Abah's Watch do it and got jealous

To be fair, leash and chains are more for the tank. Get enough DPS running them and managing group AoEs becomes a nightmare.
Beyond that, Leash is a godsend for Sorc tanks, because they have the second best on the spot stam recovery in the game.
A lightning themed pull would be cool, but not at the expense of a major utility power for sorcs.
Besides, sorcs are already stupidly mobile. Yes including stam sorcs. If you're not using your magicka, slot streak, crit surge and, maybe dark deal.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I wish they would remove ball of lightning. It's the reason why those armies of Sorcerers are better than they should be. It's too potent and offers too many moments of complete immortality.
Reducing the duration won't do, they should just remove it and perhaps make a morph that removes roots.Auri-El is my lord,

Remember, you can't change your class. Any serious fundamental changes to a class would run the risk of leaving a lot of players with a character they have no interest in playing.
As a result, changes need to either be small (primarily for balance changes), or via changes that don't affect the class skill lines directly. Such as the change to leash or the introduction of the Psijic skill line.
Changing a major class feature is something that needs to be done very carefully. For example, the cloak change. Almost no one used the defensive morph. Earlier iterations of it were buggy and didn't work, the final incarnation was underwhelming, and ultimately, the class needed a click heal. So, the unusable cloak morph was changed. That is, by the way, an accurate reflection of the skill; it was overlooked by most, in favor of the crit morph.
Bolt Escape isn't like that. Both morphs have real value, in PvE or PvP. And the sorc doesn't really need a pull. Especially a magicka sorc, which operates primarily at range. And Stam Sorcs already have ways to move enemies around. Finally, chains and leash are for tanking. It's not about being convenient for a melee DPS, it's so the tank can pull their enemies into AoEs along with the boss. So, we already have that in leash. This wouldn't add any value, and would only serve to neuter player's builds if they were using either Streak or Ball.1 -

✭✭✭How does Streak or Ball have value in PvE exactly? The main skills used in PvE are Empowered Ward, Haunting Curse, Bound Aegis, and Frags.
