Is there Possibility of Extending Mid-Year Mayhem Achievement time?

Would it be possible to disable the scroll of pelinal fury after the event is over but allow for another 4 weeks to complete the achievements?
Doing the achievements on multiple characters is a nightmare, especially with those players that have limited play time.
Disabling the scroll will turn of the double AP and another objective in Cyrodiil would keep it lively for a bit.
