My Rosy Lion Inn Room

The Rosy Lion, much like the Mara's Kiss inn room, isn't that terribly interesting. And Breton furniture is somewhat generic, boring, dark brown. I did put up a few table runners, tapestries, and of course a large lion medallion, to give it a bit more luxurious feel.

Haha, well Breton style fits with the Breton homes and such, but it's just not terribly interesting I think, a bit too generic celtic/fantasy like, compared to the more exotic styles such as Dunmer or Vvardenfell, or even very exotic ones such as Clockwork.

But I'm very partial when it comes to racial styles anyway, so it's just my personal opinion =p

Very nice yes. Like all the other inn rooms Khajiit has turned the one at The Rosy Lion into a branch of The Bank of Khajiit.

You've made it very cozy-looking, good work with the lighting as well. The banner, runner, and carpet are warm details--I also like placing the non-combat pets on beds

Storage for this one, short term loans for trusted customers and a place where those leaving Tamriel forever can leave all of their money and jewels and lovely things. Khajiit takes the greatest care of lovely things ...

Thank you Lighting is very important yes, to make most rooms or homes more lively and cosy and not so dank and dark.

And there really have to be some decorating items as well, since these tiny inn rooms can hold so little clutter.

I have a Norwegian Forest Cat that always snuggles next to me in bed, so it was the obvious choice for these two small cuties

Damn, you must be very patient. I tried to hang up a photo frame and it is always ends up hanging mid air or one corner inside the wall or a bit askew. Apart from that a light stand, a bed, a tree branch and a horse are the only things I have in my room.

Haha, you should check out some of my larger homes then, they are all in my signature. These inn rooms barely took any time to do, it was mostly planning out which items to craft and then making them, the decorating itself was quickly done. But then again, I have quite a lot of experience with this by now, as you can see from some of my other homes.

Next one is Gryphon Garret, it's a bit larger for an inn room plus I will decorate it in the Alinor style, so it's going to be a bit more interesting. I'm waiting for next update though, to save some Culandas with the changes.

After that it's the Excorsized Coven cottage, which I count on coming back this halloween, along with the new witches and halloween furniture packs currently on the PTS.

And finally, I will get around to decorating my Observatory Prior now that I finally have all the CWC furnishing recipes. I'm waiting for the Sotha sil furniture pack first, however, and also the new CWC luxury furnishing items that have been datamined, so I probably won't get around to do that one until November/December.

And after that, well, we will just have to see.

@Carbonised Thanks for sharing! As you well know, I love your decorating sense! I, too, find the Breton homes and furniture to be less interesting/exciting than others, so I haven't yet done much with my Rosy Lion (or Ravenhurst, for that matter). But, you have inspired me, so I think I might take a crack at it soon.

You have done an excellent job here! Particularly how you have made a small room look somewhat more spacious. Tricks of that trade that I hope to one day acquire.

My take on the mix & match furniture styles, etc., that I use is:

My character is well travelled. Over the years, travelling to various places, she has gathered architectural ideas, and brought home numerous items, which she now proudly displays in her home, to show off to her guests.
