[Suggestion] Make mementos work more like emotes

I'm sure many share the same problem as I, there is a gazillion mementos in the game, and while some of them look rather meh, a lot of them are pretty cool as well. But, the huge hurdle in actually using these is that you have to quickslot them beforehand, and actually use them from your quickslot menu (or even worse use them directly from the memento collection screen). That means a lot of wasted time and effort, for a simple memento show off. Plus, you'd really rather have potions and other useful gear in your quickslot, instead of mementos.

So, recently we had the Psijic Glowglobe emote added. This one is actually pretty cool, being an emote instead of a memento. Meaning you can just type /glowglobe in your chat window and it fires off. No more quickslotting or finding it in a crowded memento collection!

So, I propose that several of the existing mementos, if not all, are changed to also have an emote trigger so you can fire them off directly through chat.

Cyrodiil is a special zone, either you could keep them turned off in Cyrodiil - both as memento and emote - or you could leave the harmless ones on in Cyrodiil as emotes as well. The Psijic glowglobe functions perfectly well in Cyrodiil, many of the existing mementos would also work in Cyrodiil, while some such as the mudball and other potentially harmful ones, would still be turned off.

For all the other zones, could we please get emote commands to trigger these mementos as well. I would like to use many of mine a lot more than I do, but slotting them in a quickslot menu is detrimental to that for many reasons, and is a very impractical solution.

More custom and unique emotes are cool, mementos you forget ever to use which just clog up your collection screen isn't that useful.

tl;dr: Make all mementos be triggered with an /emote keyword in chat as well.

    Both a slash command and being able to quickslot it would be best. I don't wanna type /mudball every time I wanna pelt a friend. But for ones like Malacath's axe and whatnot, they should be slash commands.

    Mudball, and a few others, are targetable, thus they would probably never work with an /emote command.

    But the vast majority of mementos are not targetable, they only involve your own character, and thus making them an /emote would be easy enough.

    But for clarity's sake, I'm not suggestion taking away the memento function, but instead adding the emote command to trigger them as an alternative to using the memento directly.

    I like the Light of Almalexia to bring light to dark dungeons and look for chests.

    If this were only doable by chat I would ditch this behavior.

    So a YES from me for the suggestion, a NO if Zeni intends to change to chat only.

    Essentially, the only ones that wouldn't work with an /emote trigger command are the mudball and the murderous crows from the crates. And they could quite possibly work as well, as long as you had a target in your recticle.

    Typing the /command would be similar to pressing the memento quickslot button, and if you don't have an appropriate target, the item just doesn't go off.

    Again, this would be an addition to using them from the quickslot menu, as a quick way to express the mementos that are cosmetic and visual only - which is pretty much the description of an emote as well (like the psijic glowglobes, or the Telvanni wizard glowing books).
