I like Midyear Mayhem, big fights everywhere

I think an event like this is encouraging players to try PVP. It has been alot of fun with huge battles. I hope some new PVP-ers stick around and keep Cyrodil busy. I dont mind queuing to get into Cyro when its so full of action when i get there Midyear Mayhem made me try battlegrounds for the first time and it was fun, intense and fast paced. So thanks for having a PVP event like this.
Not everything is fun and games btw, i got ganked in Imperial City With 30000 tel var stones on me, so i lost 15000 of those.

I completely agree! I have also had a blast, and I also jumped in BGs for the first time. I’ve been back since and definitely look forward to more BG madness going forward. The intense, huge fights we have had in Vivec have been really sick too!

This event has turned me into PVP in a big way. I definitely intend to stick around and become a regular.

I'd be surprised if most regular PVPers didn't start out by following the zerg. I know I did!

Then I was fortunate to find a PVP guild that took me under their wing and helped me actually understand and get better at PVP. I still love the huge battles to capture and defend keeps.

I literally grimaced when I read that last part - ouch

great post though...normally I just stick to cyrodiil, but, i surprised myself and had a really good time doing battlegrounds...

Yeah, same here. I just find it ridiculous that some insist that the game was made for smallscale and how large scale should be shunned. I like both styles of gameplay.

Agreed. People that use the term zergling in an effort to raise themselves up only place themselves in a dark corner. In PvP you start off following the waves, and if you gain the yearning to learn more and improve you will branch off and discover your own play style.

I too enjoy large and small scale fights, and hopefully more of ESO is seeing PvP in a good light this event no matter what faction you're on.

Totally agree, if the server was able to handle the traffic. The crashes and lag have been incredibly painful.

I am glad some of the PvE'ers find PvP fun to do after this event. Most of them steer clear of it and "hate it with a passion" without even trying it.

Well I plan to do a lot more PVP.

I admit I follow the zergs in this event and find the large battles fun. Defending and attacking. There always seem to be a core group and the rest of us running around lol. As a noob at this if you dont follow the zergs you are AP fodder and get killed all of the time, so you spend most of the time re spawning and riding your horse around. I'm still dying a lot but each time getting a little better and taking note of the skills that are killing me. I will do some research after this event and plan to hit PVP more.

I wish they would make "Double AP" the new norm after the event. Those double AP defense tics are making more players show up to defend keeps.

I used to hate pvp with a passion. Decided to give it a go whilst this event is on. What can i say? I really enjoy it. I die alot, run around alot, but when i get into a nice group and go and attack and defend keeps it makes up for it. I fully intend to keep going back. It is a nice break from all my PVE.

I agree with all of these posts. Midyear has been a blast. Nailed my first leader board finishing 7th in shore and now im looking to make an emp run lol. Wishful thinking maybe but it has added a new dynamic to the game.

There cant be a thread about pvp without atleast a mention about the lagg, sorry , but its true. And ZOS deserves nothing else. Im still playing , so they are doing something right, but the fact that they cant seem to fix the lagg in pvp is just a sad fact that imo deserves an "honorable" mention in every pvp related thread

I'm so glad that some of the players new to PvP due to this event have discovered they enjoy it. That was me last year, and I just want all the people who might like it but are nervous about trying it to check it out. Don't be nervous and don't worry about people being mean. Most people are nice, lots of funny people (at least on AD) and even if you can't get in a guild for a bit, zone chat is full of pointers on what to do during defense/offense situations. Just listen to what they are telling people to do and try to be wherever the action is so you can help your faction and also keep learning. And like I've said in other places, I'll run around with new people in AD whenever, just let me know

I really enjoyed this event too, made new friends in the process and PVP will now become a part of my weekly ESO cycles.

Kudos to ZOS for getting this one right.

Its nice to see that players enjoy this event. It has been really fun and full of action. I have done all achievements by now. Now im looking forward to the next holiday event.

Me too.... l love 200+ ping, l love being killed by aoe I can’t see cause of lag, I love the loading screens..... see what I’m getting at?

Despite the lag it definitely felt good to see PvP so lively again. No matter what time I logged in I could find some fights, that was nice. Here's hoping that some PvE players stick around and join the fun.

There was a time when I was a 2h / bow Stam DK that would snipe spam people from crouch.

Reminded me a lot of Skyrim lol.
