Weird Battlegrounds Thing that would Be Cool if it was Fixed

I know this is not a big deal at all, just a cosmetic bug, and I know there are other things that should be fixed first, but figured I'd throw this in there.
If you are wearing the alliance hood hat (it's the hat that can't be dyed and changes depending on your toon's alliance) and you go into Battlegrounds, it will change to a random alliance, regardless of the actual alliance you are in. For instance, I'm in Aldmiri Dominion. I've been doing alot of Battlegrounds because the event, and each time I go into a match, my hood will change to the Ebonheart Pact or Daggerfall Covenant hood, despite me being in Aldmiri Dominion. I believed that this was because in Battlegrounds, it ignores alliances, so it just RNGs into one of the hoods, but you would think it would do that in PvE as well. It's a very minor annoyance, but one that would be cool to fix since I have my outfit dyed to match the hood, and I look pretty weird wearing yellow and brown and suddenly have a red or blue hood. The funniest part is I have never gone into BG with the actual hood belonging to my alliance! Silly stuff.

It's because each BG team is an "alliance" kind of. So for example let's say Fire Drakes is under the hood coded as EP. Whenever you are on Fire Drakes - your hood etc. will be EP. I don't recall which team is which alliance, but just using that as an example to show how it works.
This is the same thing with why if you open your boon box inside of battlegrounds, you can get siege for an alliance you are not on.. as the game thinks you are "EP/FireDrakes" while inside.
There was a Zos comment made a few days ago that they are aware and working on it. The comment was directed at the boon boxes, but quite possibly the fix may fix the hood problem too!

I don't have the mappings memorized, but let's say Pit Daemons = EP, Storm Lords = DC, Fire Drakes = AD. So if you're on the Pit Daemons team on your AD character and open a reward box while in the battleground, where your "team" corresponds to EP, you'll get EP siege and whatnot. I've also noticed that if you have the Alliance Rider costume and hat, that you'll occasionally end up with the wrong alliance representation in a Battleground depending on what team you're on.
That's the general gist of it, yeah. Felexir✭✭✭ahhh so close! That is weird. On a side note, I do remember being on all three teams (obviously in different matches), but none of them pulled the yellow hood
