Yet another apex mount i never wanted and will never ever use... Can we finally get gems instead?

As title says... I have just gotten my 3rd apex mount that i DO NOT WANT, WILL NOT EVER USE, AND DOES NOT EVEN FIT ANY OF MY CHARACTERS (Camel)

And we still can't sell these for gems, or even exchange them, or hell... trade them with other lucky players who want to pass up their mounts for a different one...

Can you please, ZOS, for the love of all divines give us at least one of these options... I know it's a chance, I know it's RNG. But when you get the same bad luck 3 times after opening so many crates you just kind of go from excited to extremely dissatisfied.

At this point i'd rather get an extra 5-bundle of Tri-Pots from the crate. They at least give me a gem.

I agree, you should be able to gem anything you get out of the crates. Hopefully they do this at some point, but i won’t hold my breath as this is how they make monies. That being said please give me some of your rng skills for i have none.

I hope they go further and let you gem costumes, i have plenty of costumes and cosmetics I’ll never use.

I dont really care tbh.
But as long as people keep supporting those crates, the situation will not change, because more consumer friendly means less profitable. That's why they added radiant apex mounts, for example.
Its like spending a ton of money in a casino and then complaining that you didnt win anythig. Will the casino owners change their ways? Of course not, you've already brought them your money and might bring even more in the future, because its addicting.

Gem extraction was mostly a compromise on bound crate inventory items that you can't vendor. Allowing an average of 3 gems per crate doesn't imbalance the system, either.

Collectibles do not take up inventory space so there's no need to micromanage them. They merely exist as options.

We should have the ability to sell back anything for the decon gem value. I
see no reason why we should get stuck with things we don't want.

If I could sell back all the cosmetics and stuff I wont use, I'd probably buy more crates.

I agree. I absolutely loathe bears so of course that's what the RNG gave me when I would have been over the moon happy to get any of the other ones. I wish I could trade the awful thing in for gems so I could get one that doesn't fill me with resentment to see in my collection.

This is the only crate season so far that has had me not wanting any of the apex mounts, the glowy things just don't appeal to me.

I too got the camel, and ok, it's just sat there in my list not hurting anything, but I'd happily gift it to someone if I could as I'll never use it.

This is how it works, common sense.
Bears are obviously the coolest mounts in the game, closely followed by guars. Camels, horses and senches share the last place but for different reasons. Horses just look generic and boring, camels look like idiots when they move and lastly, people riding a small cat really just look weak af, laughable. Everything else is kinda okay I guess.

Should you wonder what the coolest mount is specifically - of course the dwarven bear (until hollowjack bear gets released).

And since there are so many mounts that just plainly suck, you should definitely be able to trash them to buy sweet bears and guars.

That's not the right mindset though. One should always question things, ask for things, try to find/figure out/think of solutions etc. If you just gave up like that with everything in life that you don't control and say It's not going to change, we'd all soon have no freedom left whatsoever.

I will always ask, always question, always plead... No matter how unreal the circumstances might be.

It doesnt work like this with predatory practices.
All that matters here is your money, and they dont want you to trade your apex drop, they want you to buy more crates until you get something you want (or give up). This is essentially a carrot on a stick.
They recieved overwhelmingly negative feedback about crown crate rng, and yet they added radiant apex drops on top of that, so you cant just bruteforce your way to the mount you'd like to buy.
