    Could only use them at level 85 and above after doing a quest in EQ2. It was nice back then. Now, they are just a cash grab...lol

    Sadly, most of the players would throw money at their screens for that to actually happen in game. Rocket-dragons instead of flying samurais though, cause “lore” reasons.

    I’m fine with no flying, but it would be cool if they did something like GW2 did with mounts.

    You know, I can't imagine wanting a flying mount in this game. I'm already hopping off my horse every 5-1/2 feet to harvest another resource node, going up in the air would just make it even more awkward.

    Just going to say that no, flying mounts have NOT been confirmed at this time. Will they be a thing in the future? Who knows? But at this time, there has been no official announcement in regards to flying mounts. So this thread is purely speculation.

    I would love to see a gryphon mount. It wouldn't have to "fly" but maybe glided when you jumped over hills or off small cliffs. In it is idle state when you press "A", it could flap wings and maybe levitate a little bit from the ground. This would be so cool with the release of Summerset.

    This, denser packed world, wayshrines everywhere, you can also push trough anything overland as long as you have invested some stamina in the mount, this includes world bosses. Mounts in WOW was not so rough and it was pretty easy to get knocked down questing.

    No wayshrines in wow, just portals to key locations so it often involved long travel, remember using the flight service often even with flying mounts as I could take an break. Yes it was fun but don't fit in ESO.

    Add that the world is not build for it, lots of locations I assume would not look well from above, you could land inside quest locations and so on. This even involves skipping trash in trials.
    Not to talk about Cyrodil :)


    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Yes, but i wish, there would be "flying mounts light". For example in Neverwinter you could buy a gryphon who doent fly, but "hovvers" over small distances.

    That would be awsome.

    I know... from RP perspective there are some issues... i guess... Well... are there?
