Spicy "Below MM" Streamed Community Auction (PC/Mac NA, September 15, 1pm ET)

Saturday, September 15, at 1pm ET (5pm UTC), the Spicy Economics and Spicy Life guilds will be hosting a unique streamed community auction! This auction will be open to ALL those on the PC/Mac NA server via Twitch!
This auction will have a special "Below MM" format. How this will work is that each auction lot will have two parts:
-The first part will make the auction lot available straight up at a slight discount to MM. First come, first serve.
-And then to give bidders a chance at even more deals, the second part of the auction is to then start an identical lot at 1k and bid normally.
To participate, go to twitch.tv/jhartellis -- you may place your bids in the Twitch chat or whisper your bids in game @JHartEllis
Types of item that will be up for auction:
-Materials
-Motifs
-Luxury furnishings and crafted furnishings
-Other rare and fun items
A few technicals:
-1k bid increments.
-auction lot winners will need to mail the gold to JHartEllis--including the item name will help. Items will be mailed as soon as possible (mostly simultaneously during the auction).
-auction lot winners within the Spicy guilds will receive the items via COD if the price is less than 100k.
This format will provide several benefits, primarily better access to rare in-game items and at low in-game gold prices. The format also gives the ability to preview items on the stream, which is especially important for furnishings and outfitting styles. Participants can also see how an auction works from the other side of things.
This will require cooperation to deal with the stream delay (~6 seconds), but it should be manageable.
Starting Saturday at 1pm ET and running several hours, so feel welcome to join for all or part. See you there!
