i really wonder if some people do have unrecognized network problems that come into play when they're using ESO.
i'm not hardwired and i'm almost 1,500 miles from the server; i don't even have a particularly fancy ISP setup. i'm just reasonably careful about the things i can easily control, and i don't have a tenth of the connection problems that people talk about on the forums.
i know people enjoy claiming that if they don't have problems with other games then it's ZOS's fault, but that's silly. if you really think the problem's not on your end, that doesn't mean it's on ZOS's end. claiming that shows that you're failing to account for the entire middle, which is easily the biggest part.
this isn't directed at anyone in particular (and for the educated people who've traced and changed their hops i don't know what to tell you) but it just seems obvious to me that if the problem is the source, then everyone using that source would have the problem. and i'm sure i don't. with how constant the complaints have been, it isn't just my good luck.
but i don't want to sound rude either. i really wish this was all already figured out, so that the forums could go back to talking about playing the game (rather than not playing the game).
Played all of last night and today.
Only issues I had
1) queue time on vivec last night was 20 mins
2) frame rate was shocking at a keep when lots of ppl around.Must have been down to 3-5fps (difficult to tell on an xb1x)
3) imp city boss achievement is broken (but that’s acknowledged by Zos) and isn’t required for SMK achievement anyway
No dc issues though and FPS was great outside keeps and other ppl

Problem solved.

Lol I can’t see how anyone can type all of this when zos has publicly came out about trying to improve the servers and adding improvements for better performance.
Just because you don’t experience it doesn’t mean it’s everyone else’s fault. I have internet designed specifically for gaming and I’m sure there’s others with top tier internet and custom PCs that still experience server issues. [/quote
Zos has been saying they were going to fix pvp for several years now. I can’t remembee when it was, but I think after they fixed the load screen problem pvp was much less laggy. Then again, that could have been because there weren’t as many people playing.

They haven't fix jack crap. They came out publicly saying they FIXED the problems and a patch was supposed to "fix" the problems FOR this event but instead made it worse. This has been an ongoing problem since the game first came out in 2014 and is a lot of the reason why some people try the game and quit it immediately. But ZO$ doesn't care as long as that one person bought the game their games state and performance means nothing to them. I would not put it past them to create a crown store item that you have to buy for $300 that will fix all the problems. They are more then capable of doing it but having people spend MORE money is more important to them.

Its definitely the servers, I got off last night and played GTA, zero issues what so ever.
