One Handed And Unarmed Skill Lines

It's been years since the game has been released and yet, years later, we are still missing a basic skill line and an advertised skill line. Yep, I'm talking about the Sword and Spell skill line and the Unarmed (hand to hand) skill line.

The sword and spell skill line is something that has always been advertised in the videos involving the High Elf Queen. She is seen using a one handed sword and when blocking attacks she is using magic to do so. So why don't we have this skill line? I mean, it really just seems like a form of false advertising to me, but I'm not an expert in that field.

Then there's the highly requested Hand To Hand combat skill line, which honestly should've been added in the beginning. There have been new class and job skill lines added, yet the one that has been requested for years... nothing. There's a TON of potential in these two skill lines. I personally have been wanting to use both of these skill lines for a majority of my characters. But get stuck going back to dual wielding swords (cause in the realm of Elder Scrolls no one knows how to hold a freaking dagger) or a staff.

Here's how to implement these skill lines;

One Handed And Spell:
One handed and spell skill lines would probably be the easiest skill line to incorporate. I mean, there's already a shield emblem that generates when you block, regardless of what weapon you use. Simply use the same animation as the Templars Beam as a blocking animation and change the shield color based on which element the player has on their weapon (Red = Fire, Blue = Lightning, White = Ice, and Yellow = Restoration). These shields could even be crafted at the enchantment station, as it could be an enchantment added to their one handed weapon. Skills could use the same animation as Sorcerers, Templars, One Handed And Shields, etc.

OH&S Ultimate:
The Ultimate could be something like what's displayed in the game trailer. It could be a magical shield bubble that blocks ranged attacks. When morphed the activation of the ultimate could push enemies outside the bubble and create arcs of green lightning that damage the enemies. Or it could be morphed to restore Magicka and Stamina to players within the bubble.

Unarmed/Hand To Hand
Hand To Hand would be the skill line that may require new animations, but would renew a lot of players faith back in to the game. Weapons would be simple, cloth station for studded gloves, blacksmith station for spiked/bladed gloves. So all that would have to be added to the already created gloves would either be a few studs, spikes or a blade. Animations would have to be new, but I would imagine that it would not be nearly as costly as it is creating new zones and dungeons.

H2H Ultimate:
As I stated, new animations would have to be created, but the ultimate could be a series of kicks and punches, doing massive damage. It could be morphed into to a magicka based attack. When activated the player stands still, as if in a prayer stance (Templar's Restoring Light Ultimate pose) and magical fist appear rapidly striking the enemy draining Magicka from the target and restoring it to the player.

Or it could be morphed into a Stamina based attack in which the character bombards the enemy with a series of kicks to the targets body, draining the Target's Stamina and restoring it back to the player.

I mean these are just ideas in case you guys just ran out of them, which is why they weren't implemented in yet. But feel free to use them.
