New to eso pvp? Want to be effective, but start small? Like hurling siege?

Strap on 5 sloads, 5 vicious death and 2 skoria (selestrix/stormfist also works I suppose) and defend those keeps. Use meatbags for defile.

The best part is that while you’re not wrong, I can’t wait for the posts about “I did your build bro and I’m still getting pwn’d. PvP sux yo!” simply because there is no armor or weapon that can teach people to move laterally in battle.

That will be great for giant zergs, however how will you sustain? And if you use witchmothers, you will be sacrificing max stats.

Completely accurate, though considering who the build was made for (green as grass pvpers or people who will literally do nothing but siege), they couldn't xv1 a decent player to begin with.

I stink at solo pvp too. Well, solo outnumbered: I'm so so at duels. Throw my hat in with the "I run a well designed build and still get rekt" crowd

Who needs sustain when your entire job is siege?

To answer you in a non sarcastic way, you end up off your siege and you're boned (barring one potato to start the dominoes)

I suck at dueling but can survive longer in a 60 man fight wearing paper thin PvE style gear than most tanks running full Impen. Tons of different ways to be good in Cyrodiil but one of the most important ones to remember is that in no way is it similar to a 1 on 1 fight.

Like André The Giant once eluded to in The Princess Bride, sometimes it’s easier to fight a few people than just one.

Nothing new, people have already figured out that sloads and viscous death will proc off seige although in the past that supposidly got fixed for VD.

So the question is, is this an exploit or not?

No an effective as OPs build but I'm not very good at PvP, last year I slotted marksman, eagle eye with masters bow and sniped my way to 4mil ap injust over a weekend of light playing, just being a sniper on keeps sticking with the zerg.
Simple get the 5 eagle eye bow passive always up, hit them with poison injection then hold heavy attack an quickly snipe, you kill 70% of the players with this combo, but if not they normally get finished off by your dot and aoes.

this is the only mmo that the armor set kills
no matter how good you are , have all guild passive and all , beginners with zaan , sload , what ever can kill you

I don't even play PvP so being a backiner on the battlefield with the zerg was a logical choice. I was suprised how effective it was though without the zerg I was cannon fodder for the enemy.
That masters bow and poison injection dot just wipes them unexpectedly when they get hit with the heavy attack/snipe combo. I would lock on to them, see them behind a wall while they run away to get cover then just die from the poison injection dot.

No worries, lots of PvP players subscribe to that belief as well.

This build will be less effective soon. Sets like Sloads and Skoria won't be able to proc from Siege equipment.

I believe it's already active on the PTS.

Well, zergballs lol. That's why I'll be predominantly sticking to BGs for the duration of the event, except when necessity drives to me Cyro for the achievements. Also, i might try to rack up some defensive AP ticks, cause you can never have too much AP.

The problem is, do I want to endure the crippling lag and overpopulated servers to do it? Much like @DenMoria I'm not that masochistic lol

It’s not cheating, but it’s certainly on the glitchy side. I’ve probably died to snipe pew pew 14k damage x 2 from full health with literally zero chance to defend myself than anything else. At the end of the day though, it’s on my and the trade off I choose to make by not wearing Impen: I can easily die on my horse.

From the prospective of the person being shot often times they will die (you’re still running around but instantly have no resources) before they die (blue death screen) for 3 or 4 full seconds. When I didn’t know better I totally thought it was a hack cause it’s really weird.

I eventually checked this very forum and learned it’s called a health desync.

If you add all that up I’m sure you can now better understand how someone would come to this opinion.

Oh yes. Many people seem to think this is cheating.

I’ve done it and it’s happened to me. I think it’s just poor coding/lag if anything.
