I have thought about two features and one improvement that I think would benefit the game thus developers also. In my oponion early impression is crucial while deciding if the game is worth playing or not.
1.Inspect feature
In my opinion this is very basic feature, that I personally lack in ESO. It should contain everything about player's setup - gear, motifs and dyes that are part of his outfit, maybe even his current skills setup. I see a somebody that has been perfoming well - I can inspect to know how so. I see a cool looking dude - I inspect to see what he is wearing. I see somebody who is not perfoming well - I can see why and advise him what to change. Simple.
2.PvE content guide
This idea was inspired by Adventure Journal feature from World of Warcraft. What I mean by that - only purpose of this is to save time to players. Basically something in game where I can read what bosses I can find in certian dungeons and trials, what item sets drop there and what mechanics to keep in mind for each boss and so on. I think that ESO must look very confusing to new players so to save their time that they have to spend searching for item sets and where they drop and watching 30 min long videos about dungeon mechanics. I think that developers did a great job with the Skill Advisor in Dragon Bones DLC, but why not take it a step futher and give us something so we know how to play and what to do.
3.Better story bosses
This one is not that important, but I think that is would be great if this was taken into consideration. My point is that no matter how the villian is powerfull and menacing it always dies to one skill rotation. You quest through all the location and you hear the stories about this one villian - how much is powerfull, you see all the results of his evil nature and so on, but when you finally find him and you are ready to do your best to defeat this evil you find out that all you need to is press aproximately like 4 spells (just finished rivenspire story and baron Montclair died to 3 spells and ulti). I fully understand that these vanilla quest must be acessable to everyone even to people who are not that good, but here are reasons why I think it wouldn't ruin their experience:
1.My first story boss was Faolchu and though I tought it would be hard, I killed him no problem while I had no idea what was I doing. That means that few tweaks to them would make them impossible to beat.
2.New players these days have easier leveling due to leveling rewards that means that they will face these story bosses at lvl. 20+ and that is lot of skill point to make a decent build with a bit of sustain to be able to withstand longer fights.
3.Even if they wouldn't succeded on their first try, I believe that would like that challenging aspect of it and could learn from their mistakes
What I suggest is to buff these characters because they are interesting and buffing them would help them to be more memorable. Really good example of this Shadow of Sotha Sil boss in Clockwork City DLC. Buff them and make their health bar bigger so they feel like a real chalenge.
That is all the things that I am convinced to be good for future of ESO. I hope that developers will read this and take these things into consideration. Let me know what do you think about my ideas.
