Damn I ran vCoH1 so many times today and no drop. I ran with so many different players and so many people were so confused about the drop.
Most people insisted on always activating HM even with the achievement already. The wording in the advert says once you have the achievement your chances are doubled but not that you need to run it on HM every time for double drop.
"However, should you have earned the Hard Mode achievement titled “A Crypt for Two" your chance to pick up the page is doubled. To earn this achievement, you must defeat the Ilambris Twins on Veteran Hard Mode difficulty. Future Monster Mask Outfit Style drops will also have an improved chance of dropping if you have that bosses' specific Hard Mode achievement."
Is it not clear enough? Should It read specifically "You only need to complete hardmode once and gain the achievement for double drop chance." I just dont know.
Also people were insisting we needed to clear all bosses, get a no death run etc for an even higher chance? Where does this information come from that people believe that, is it Chinese whispers?
then there were people looking for weapon style drops from the boss aswell etc.
Hopefully as the event goes on from month to month people will learn and these ideas with no merit are forgotten.
