1 BIG Suggestion for quality life in consoles

What I'm looking forward to see is a system like we have in the division, where we can save deferent loadouts and switch for both pve and PvP... The biggest problem for me is to be ever changing champion points Everytime I want to do pve or PvP....

Pls let the developers know this... A big part of console players would appreciate this, even if it have a crown cost like outfits.

    They already know.

Pro Tip from a guy who PvPs a lot: Just use your PVE gear. You really don’t need PvP gear. The difference is maybe 10% more deaths and, often times, you’ll be putting out way more DPS that way. Also, no one in PvP will even know so therefore it’s unlikely someone is going to clown you for it. If you’re dying a lot in PvP as is, changing your gear isn’t going to change that much.

id like this, ff14 has gear sets so this should be very do-able.

with classes like warden that can play tank, healer and dps having different gear sets would nice.

they shouldn't have a cost, as it is standard imo to have gear sets.

    Suggestion - singular?

That’s it? Come on man, live a little! I can think of about 250, wait a minute, how many add-ons are there for pc? More than 250? Well then, that’s how many suggestions I could come up with, lol.

With addons, this is already possible on PC. Dressing Room allows me to save armor and skill sets and easily switch. Unfortunately, it's not ZOS that's blocking addon use for consoles. It's Micro$oft and $ony.

not a fan of addons personally, but a lot of what we call basic features in mmo started out as addons in WoW. like gear score and such. so it wouldn't be an issue to add them to the game.

I wish ZOS cared more for QoL functions.
They should analyze add-on usage and start adding similar functions of the top addons to the base game on all platforms.

It's all there, they just have to take the data, copy the design and rebuild the features.
And hopefully they won't stop halfway through, like they did with the bufftracker..

They allowed it for Skyrim & Fallout, don't see how this is any different.

    I'd take:
    • Multicraft
    • AD Reminder
    • Combat metrics
    • Quick switching addon
    • Map pins

This is something I've never understood about ESO

Here is a functional modding API that allows for relatively simple, quick and cheap enhancements to the game that clearly provides the players benefits and significant QoL improvements.

But they don't use it themselves?

If its a legal thing about not using third party stuff then crafting their own equivalents, while some effort, is nowhere near difficult.

Having a bunch of ZoS official mods means PS4 and XBox can have tools we are seriously lacking. PC players can choose to keep using the ones they know and love or go with the ZoS ones.

    Everyone wins that way.....

@Vesper_BR we're in the same camp man. I'm a console user through and through (XB-NA), so I can only muse about the add-ons I've heard so much about. But I will say that things we've seen added to our base-game UI have probably been inspired from some of the more popular add-ons. Buff/de-buff timers are one I can think of off the top of my head.

I was agreeing with your suggestion, just making a joke that there are so many more we could use that PC players take for granted due to 3rd-party additions.

You’re right but it’s manageable. You just gotta heavy attack more than most. Given the time you can pull it off much easier than people give it credit for.

The shredded part comes entirely down to if you can cast large shields or not because those can’t be crit.

I actually tried this out on my PvE sorc. Took him into Cyrodiil for a test run. (Only hardened ward for a shield, and no rune cage, full divine's gear)

I still died when I got more than 4 players on me, and let's face it, players in Cyrodiil chase down lone players, can't help themselves, so that would happen even if I had PvP gear/skills on hand.
The damage was insane, however. Threw down my Wall of Elements, liquid lightning, hit them with shooting star, and groups fell over. True, I died when looked at, but damage was crazy...

    1. to change morphs and CP costs gold. As long as that is in the mix I do not see an automatic change coming from Zos.

    2. Even on PC we can only save/swap gear and existing skills, respect does not happen. It requires the use of addons.

Further, the CP system seems to not be accessible via the API. Otherwise on PC we would be able to change CP (and still pay gold) on the fly. What Zos has added to the UI has been based on Add-ons so being able to change CP on the fly seems unlikely.

Uses dressing room on pc, its nice in that you can set up profiles, DD, dungeon heal, trial heal, pvp, overland.
It don't change the CP but skill bars and gear. No more healing in medium stealth gear :)

Grinding just make you go in circles.

Well pve you run around 1k regen. PvP you usually need 1500+. That's a LOT of heavy attacking. Not to mention if you're magica you 10k Stam pool with 500 Stam regen means you will get run out of Stam way too easy.

The shields thing applies to mag sorc only. One shield and no imoen isn't enough on other classes. Even on a mag sorc, you still want some impen.

Btw.. answering who said about using the same setup in cirodill as in pve... It's not possible since I play sword and board in magdk and double destroy in pve... My damage is totally different in those two scenarios... And I think it's the same for most of end game players

PvE gear worked just fine for me when I started playing battlegrounds, and I suspect it's because CP is disabled. In a CP campaign in Cyro, I'd probably be hesitant to bring my PvE gear in (all divines traits, hardly anything set up to maximize penetration or damage mitigation) and I know personally that I'd get stomped and have a bad time. But for zerg balls, PvE gear is fine. Hell, you'll get plenty of AP in a zerg ball with the broom and bucket helmet.

But yeah, try it out, see how it goes, and if you feel you need to change something, change it. Ezpz.

Haha yes please do this! If you PVP a lot, you would not have PVE gear. Also, never ever wear gear with impen traits.
