Was looking forward to the new masks, but should of known better.

These are not NEW as your advert states, just an existing old style
And as for the misleading pictures, decide for yourselves

It was not available in the outfit system previously, now you can use this look without having to wear the monster set. Some people might like how it looks. What’s the problem here? New look as in new look that you can add in an outfit station. Not once have they ever said this was going to be anything more than making the existing monster set styles available for outfits.10 -

✭I admit, I assumed that the style would have some kind of effect on it, because it's not exactly a desirable look. I wear Illambris on my main and was over the moon when we got the outfit system so I could hide that hideousness. Sort of defeats the object for me, I could sell it, but why does anyone want to look like an eyesore? (Apologies to those who want to look like an eyesore). I assumed it would be more like a style themed around the dungeon, rather than the exact same style.PC EU & NA5 -

OP, perhaps you can settle another question? Did you get the drop (I assume you got the drop) from I or II, because there's still some discrepancy there between notes and in game announcement.

✭It simply allows you now to "equip" the look of the monster helm/shoulder when wearing an outfit. Something that was not possible before, and hence is "new."
If we're talking semantics, every time you look at something you are technically taking a "new" look. So maybe they were giving you the "first new look" describing the first time you're looking at an old thing, but now something new, so next time will be the second new look. Still a new look, but not the first one. Follow?

Dark_Aether✭✭✭✭It's an outfit style. All armors in the outfit system are the existing motif styles. I don't know what you guys expected but that is what I pictured as soon as they announced it. Not defending them not putting in the effort of adding new styles but it fits the outfit system we already have.2
Sadly it's really looking bad...
