Forum users regularly see PVP Balance threads appearing in general discussion. I understand the posters rationale for this as it gives greater exposure, increased views etc.

It does however give devs and forum users misrepresentation that PVP has the highest player base and is the most important area of the game.

It would be great if posters could post in the PVP subforum or if moderators could move threads to that area.

(Probably going to get flamed for posting this but that doesn't invalidate the ask)

I'm pretty sure that ZOS, with the actual numbers of how many players actually play in Cyrodiil and Battlegrounds, aren't under any misapprehensions about how small the PVP player base actually is.

If nothing else, I'd think that sheer number of persistent performance issues with the PVP campaigns should have clued you in about the relative (lack of) importance of PVP in the grand scheme of things.

I agree that we should work harder to keep PVP threads in their correct category, but seriously, PVE is in no danger of being underrepresented.

As PvP is still part of this game there are of course issues that are general topics, especially the impact of balance decisions on both play modes.

I don’t understand why people get so offended by the mere mention there is PvP. Don’t like it, don’t read it. The assumption that ZOS would stop catering to PvE because of forum posts is ridiculous.

PvP pop on this game is low, compared to the PvE element, and the actual amount of users coming to the forums is low too.

And PvP gets priority?
