Made a new Stamblade and have a question.

I made a new Stamblade after previously deleting mine. I like to run DW/Bow. Is this viable for PvP?

I know a lot of people recommend 2H and Bow, but no matter how much I play with 2H weapons, I do NOT like using them. I never have in any game with 2H weapons. I can't explain why, I just hate them.

can I still perform well in PvP using DW/Bow?

Any advice is appreciated.

DW and bow should be just fine for a stamblade...

hidden blade will give you major brutality and whirlwind will help with execute...

DW is fine for up close fighting, plus, you still have ambush and surprise attack from your class abilities...

Momentum is what you want from the 2h though. Snare resist or the heal.

You wont actually have to use attacks from the 2h skill line. You can use all class skills for offence..

Defilted

I use DW/bow on my stambalde. Vigor to heal. I am successful in PVPing. I play this character the least so I make mistakes while playing all the time, but you can kill other players with DW/bow.

1. Poison injection
2. cloak
3. ambush
4. suprise attack
5. Whirlwind(whatever morph you want) You can also try killers blade, but I find that to be harder to use over WW.

This will get most targets to very low health. You will have to practice on how to get them all the way to zero. After the combo is when I make all my mistakes.

I have seen Stambaldes using 2H and it does seem easier to finish off targets based on what I have seen, but I have not tried it yet myself.

If you're running medium armor you'll miss the burst heal from rally. If heavy then you'll miss the snare removal from Forward Momentum.

1) i feel awkward to slot poison inject and hidden blade at the same time. mostly we use poison inject for opening, i feel weird to barswap and use another ranged opening.
2) Rally healing over time and burst heal is too good to skip
