Should we be allowed to repair armor and use guild store via followers at Housing locations?

I had the idea that if they made it so that armor repair and your own guild stores were made accessible from the followers, they could limit it to only followers that were set up as 'furniture' in housing locations. This would make many more guild halls a local hub for members and personal homes for friends. Also, even though I am with 3 well-established (and seasoned) trade guilds who have all of the crafting stations, I would still buy my own banker and merchant. Finally, someone else made the suggestion of removing or reducing Pirharri the Smuggler's cut, under the same circumstances? I dunno how I feel about that though.

Maybe the repair, but using guild from home means communicating between the two instances instead of the single instance talking to the main server, to handle the transaction. I suspect that would have to be a three-way connection with the main server as intermediary, which would be nasty to program.

It wouldn't be too bad. I did it with PERL in my sophomore year of college, making it so that people on multiple servers could record their message in a guestbook in real-time, recording timestamps, message, and location, in the order they were received in. I realize that the two applications are very different in practice but in theory and even in the planning of pseudo-code, it is very possible. "Nasty to program" doesn't mean impossible. I always felt that the amount of challenge in the task at hand was tantamount to the integrity you have in your finished product.

For summoned assistants in the Wild - no (but would be nice).
For stationary placed in the house - sure, yes.
