    Strong work.

    Slimecraw, sloads, bone?

Love your videos bro, but not a huge fan of the sped up footage. Keep up the good work man.

Thanks man. The purpose for speeding it up is cause I don’t think anyone really wants to sit around and watch me stamplar for 30 min haha.
There aren’t some sloads clips in there but I’m using a myriad of builds, still trying to find what o like.

Nah bro, we clicked a PvP video bc we want to watch pvp! lol the longer the better. Especially for me right now, just had hand surgery so I’m sidelined for several weeks and can’t play lol

You goin to run Ward of Cyrodiil next patch? I want to but I hate Sorc so bad... and it obviously won’t benefit against them much.

Did I see a Viper proc in there? I've settled on using that in BGs, and have been wondering how well it would translate to Vivec/Shor. Automaton is great but doesn't do all that much if you can't hit anything with Jabs due to lag.

I also like that it can be back-barred if you want to run Master's DW.
7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. Requiem, Legend, Knights of Daggerfall. Currently retired from the wars; waiting on performance improvements.

I shall keep that in mind haha.
I’ve considered running it... it would be good vs everything but sorc, and it seems to be way less of a screw you than duroks.

Yea man, viper has been really good to me the past few days. The applied dmg single target beats out any extra jab dmg I can build... and doesn’t suffer the lag and dodge, combined with the wonky jab scaling. Plus the crit is really nice even if the proc itself can’t. I’ve just been mixing and matching sets and it’s leaning towards bonepirate viper master dw back and blood spawn. It’s the most balanced I’ve found yet. Gonna have to trait change a master axe here soon.

Good stuff as always! I've been struggling to find a good stamplar setup as well. Unfortunately it just feels weaker than most other stam classes this patch. The setup I've found works best for me in solo play is ravager blood hulking with ravager on both bars, 5 medium, 3 infused jewelry traits (two WD, one recov), the warrior, 1 nirn axe one charged axe frontbar w/double dot poisons. Drop repent for meditate, your choice of back bar ult (empowering, crescent, ww, undo, remembrance, etc).

I've found meditate really helps when you get used to skillfully using it. It's certainly no dark deal, but it definitely outperforms repent.

I don't know if I could run without Impreg or Brass. Everyone always focuses the templar :s

    How do you use it?

I have 2 Stamplars myself, if it's really that helpful I'd like to grind out that skill line on those toons to get it.

You'll have to feel it out in different situations to get used to it. But a few things I've applied to it
    • sprint jumping into a meditate cast can allow you to get the first tick of resources returned while your character is still in motion
    • While it can be used for 5-10 seconds to return a full bar of resources, most outnumbered play won't allow for that long of a reprieve. It is best to incorporate using it whenever you can break line of sight from your attackers, if only even for a second or two
    • You'll get your magic back significantly faster than your stamina (simply due to the lower max stat), so be sure to put your rune down and purify prior to meditating, if you'll have enough time to return those resources spent.
    • You get major protection while channeling it, this can be used to tank hits that you see coming. If you're running blade cloak, restoring focus, and empowering sweep, you could potentially achieve 102% AoE damage mitigation/77% flat damage reduction while meditating.
    • Meditate can be bashed, but being bashed will grant you CC immunity after the stagger is complete. There are situations where it will actually be beneficial to meditate solely to bait out a bash - granting you an offensive window with CC immunity.
    • Vigor prior to entering meditate if you're going to take any damage at all - You want your 3 HoT's (meditate, vigor, rally) to be active as much as possible while meditating, since you are mildly vulnerable.

Those are just some of the main things I can think of off the top of my head. You don't need to use channel focus with meditate barred, a choice that many stamplars are choosing due to the large number of bleed/dot/sload based setups in pvp this patch. Restoring focus has always been my favorite morph, and the damage reduction + extra healing of these two abilities pair very nicely.

So, a guy I fought(he was StamNB) tried this and I kept interrupting him. So toggling it in the right situations is really important.

Honestly, outside of that one particular fight with that StamNB, no one else on my server really uses it......

    Thanks for the information.

Question, did you run Immovable pots, push the pot button, then toggle on Meditate to get the immunity? Or have you tried this?

Yeah you can do that when necessary, however generally you shouldn't be meditating for a full 10 seconds with people in bashing range. Also, stamplar benefits heavily from being able to use the immoveable window as an offensive window instead of a defensive one - jabs make you vulnerable while channeling, and the combo with PoTL is relatively easy to predict, so being able to power it up as much as possible without worrying about a CC will increase it's effectiveness.

I've been messing with the blade cloak/empowering thing for that specific reason. 3-5 people on you, blade cloak up and rune down, empowering hitting as many people as possible, immoveable, vigor -> meditate. If they're low damage/survival oriented setups, this combo can actually allow you to outheal their damage while meditating, allowing for full resources and basically a reset of the fight. Like I said though, it isn't something I do frequently and is very situational.

also having meditate on your bar gives you the block shield passive that can help eat burst when you block it, but yeah, LoS and meditating for a sec or two can help.
