IC was great for mid scale combat and the various districts were really cool to run around, plus the sewers and all that.

ruined by sharing the same instance with overworld cyrodill pvp.

PLEASE make it its own thing like battlegrounds, have it in the alliance war tab with the campaigns but make it its own thing.

I promise this will revitalize the zone, as there are a lot of people that like the scale IC combat provides that don't like the small scale sweat of battlegrounds or the zergs of overworld, IC was always the perfect in between RUINED by neglect and refusal to make it its own instance.

just add a tiny little update that makes it its own instance.

    I agree. I dont do overland PVP, Its just not my thing. I LOVE Imperial City though! I hate having to queue into Cyrodiil just to get there, And pray that my faction owns a keep thats reasonably close to the Sewer entrance...Also hoping not to get ganked on the way there. IC could be so much better than it is now, I hope they give it some kind of update.

    I like the idea of it being a challenge to actually get there.
    I remember the first time I got there from overland Cyrodiil, it was so stressful and exhilarating at the same time.

    Nothing has been done about it even though logically it should have it's own queue/instance.


    Like, who wants to pay money for a DLC to be forced to queue to play it?. Doesn't even make sense.

    getting to IC has NOTHING to do with this request, at all, I didn't even realize that was an issue for people.

    traveling to one of your outer home keeps and playing horse simulator for 30 sec to get to the door is nothing, especially if you do any sort of pvp?

    I mean maybe when it first came out and people were trying to gank the doors for the first day or two, but now? nobody cares.

    it's not always a 30 second ride...if you're being gated - it takes about 3 minutes...

    But, at least on Xbox NA, Vivec is really the only pop-locked campaign. Just enter on the lesser populated 7-day CP campaign. If the queue time is the issue, and all you are doing is going into IC and not trying to get on leaderboards, who cares what campaign you enter?

    Also, I don't think even this would solve the problem of low population in IC. There just isn't enough incentive for a ton of player to enter. Now, if IC got its own leaderboard category and you could actually "earn" something from a competitive level, this could be a good change. But until that is part of the conversation, this change would most likely accomplish nothing.

    Or you could just go into sillydill do a lap around the entire map then travel or que into IC. Literally the exact same thing except more exhilarating and stressful. However, I bet no matter how many times you do it, it just wonr stand up to the first time.

    So you disagree with a reasonable idea and request because *you* liked your first horse sim to the door?

    Surely you can see how saying no to a good for most suggestion over your first ride there is slightly unreasonable?

    I think this is a great idea.

    Some things to add is that there are a lot of people that go into the PvP zones just to go to IC making the population bigger but not apparent. I have been in Shor multiple times when near pop cap just to see most are in IC and nothing is going on in the main area.

    I know in Vivec that is usually pop cap this is not always as apparent but why force those that want to do main Cyrodil have to compete with those in IC?

    It makes no sense.

    And getting there, I have had to take 20 plus minutes getting there before because of gankers and population imbalances, often times due to populations in IC, that I just not happening today.

    I am new and not good at PvP but IC in its current form does provide some benefits and has its uses when running solo through the sewers. However, I agree that its "population" (and those of the sewers as well) should not count or be tied to the population of Cyrodil.

    No-CP players already have Battlegrounds all to themselves. I won't set foot there! It's only fair that CP players have content balanced for us.

    As someone who loves the current system, I feel it should stay as is as because:

    1) Imperial City can act as a short cut between an enemy controlled side of the map to your own side (you can enter IC from an entrance on the enemies side of the map, and immediately exit to quickly and safely reach your side of the map) which makes its presence very convient...

    2) If there isn't much going on in the Sewers (or if you just wanna engage in some large scale action), you can access Cyrodiil without having to que up to get there...all you have to do is exit the Sewers.

    3) I like being able to access IC without a que in the event that my faction is being crushed or if we are doing the crushing to the point where there is no challenge...

    1) hmmmm, very interesting - i never thought to use the IC entrances for that purpose...bloodporting would seem a little quicker though...

    2) you mean like if you just happen to be parking your toon in IC? if a queue develops in cyrodiil - you'll get bumped out of IC...

    3) another interesting thought - a pop locked IC...yeah, that'll be the day :)

    not to pick your post apart - i just don't think i've encountered any one else so enthusiastic about how IC is set up...

    sure is great how you can only rez at district platforms where your alliance controls the flag - yeah, that was a great change too, huh?

    sorry for all the sarcasm - i just feel like zos screwed up by not making it part of the base game, then denying direct access to paid content, then, putting those stupid flags in the districts which ended the great party time the player base had developed in different districts (on ps4/na it was the arena district)...

    and, adding a tea bag timer - why would zos think that was really necessary...yeah, don't want them to have too much fun fighting each other...

    that's good though that you enjoy the content as is...no, not really :)

    Make several instances of Cyrodiil for PvP if that is what PvPers want. And please make one instance for PvE - would love to visit all my old Oblivion haunts and experience the same type of nostalgia in peace that I do in the Gold Coast. :)

    Totally different content, therefore this is poor logic.

    However, I agree for a different reason: I don't think sub CP players should be automatically entitled to every square inch of the game.

    I think it leads to players who never have to learn to play because everything is faceroll easy and I think that the whole One Lameriel thing was the Worst decision the Devs have made to date.

    Content needs to get progressively more complex/difficult, to teach people how to play better over their time in.

    Anyway, I agree that 'Oh well' for Kyne players, just for a different reason.

    Also no 'you're excluding us!' talk please. As it stands, you're actually being excluded from learning to play, by the game itself. GL in Vet DLC anything when you've had no way or even reason to prepare for that level of difficulty.
