How do you weave in a dps test!?

My dps is pathetic I know I can easily hit 48k or more Im not even pushing that did a dps test 4 times in a row and I keep running out of magicka and I have 38k-40k keep consistenly hitting 26k I just don't get it character I am using is a magblade any advice on a rotation.

Lag is #1 factor, getting the light attack timing down is second... the timing is different for each skill cast. Spectral bow replaces a skill in the rotation, you should get 3 spectral bow in 20 sec aim for that. @ 90 ping I get 51k dps @ 70 ping I get 53k 3 mill dummy.

Are you using ele drain and leeching strikes (whatever the mag morph is)? Ele drain not only gives you back resources but will give you pen. Your max pen should be somewhere around 12k. Other than that it's just hitting a light attack in between every skill, which gets so ingrained in your muscle memory that I have to try hard to not weave.

This. I LA weave even when I'm laying down dots in vMA before the mobs appear

What food are you running? I run Clockwork Citrus Filet generally and never run out of magicka. Ele Drain is a must too of course.

You are cancelling your light attack animations when you weave. You aren't cancelling ability animations (they automatically get cancelled as soon as you fire your next LA and don't need any timing).

You fire off a LA and then a fraction of a sscond later you fire off an ability. If you did it right, it should look like the LA and the ability fired off at the same time.

To sustain your magicka, make sure to keep ele drain up 100% of the time and use potions. You can also slot Spell Symmetry for some extra sustain.
