[Video][Severe combat bug] Knockbacks causing delayed Cc's, sliding with 100% consistency

Knockbacks such as flame reach, javelin, leap, meteor and certain ranged ccs like snipe, stonefist, and lighting clench are causing a unique delayed cc bug. Your character locks up due to a cc without any animations whatsoever, and you are able to break it immediately, assuming you actually become aware of it when it occurs. When you break it and begin to move, you then take the animation from the ability - whether it be javelin, snipe, flame reach, lightning reach, stonefist, meteor, leap etc - and your character is pulled back to the spot where you took the initial cc. You then become "locked" out of abilities and begin to slide along the ground as your character stands back up from the animation.

This appears to happen with almost 100% consistency when moving away from a target that uses one of the ccs on you. This is a gamebreaking combat issue in pvp, as you are unable to do anything for ul to 5 SECONDS of combat. In numerous situations, this means instant death. In all situations it causes lost resources and positioning, at the very least.

This must be addressed.

    This is what you get for killing me off my mount lol. Bleeds are so op. Put that on top of an already awesome player and it's just gg.

    This video is an unrelated bug to the one I've posted, it is not relevant to this thread. The "sliding" I'm referring to is a cc-locked state induced by knockback CC's that causes you to be unable to use abilities for several seconds, while your character slides across the ground. Refer to the video in the OP.

    Been happening for awhile was hoping someone would bring it up with proof. I only have 1 video of me getting it. The slide has happened alot but this one occurence with me I got the "double" cc while sliding

    Yep, it's infuriating enough that I decided to start clipping it for this specific purpose. I have plenty more examples of it happening with other skills too. It seems that any ranged CC which hits you while you move away from the target who cast it is causing this issue or a similar one without the slide; where you just stand still with no audio or visual CC que, then break it and take the damage from whatever stunned you several seconds later.

    I've been having a similar bug with knockbacks, especially within the past 48 hours - PC NA.

    I am able to break free once, it consumes stam, and then I am hard cc'ed again immediately and break free a second time consuming stam. I don't have capacity to clip but this is clearly bugged please help!

    Can we PLEASE at least get a "We are aware of this bug and are working on a fix for a future patch"?? This is infuriating, to say the least. We all know you refuse to aknowledge bugs until you've worked out a fix, but communication really needs to become a priority when it comes to GAMEBREAKING COMBAT ISSUES.

    By the way, how about that sprint bug?

    This need to be addressed ASAP, it's getting really annoying, I can't count how many times happened.

    ZOS if this game cannot handle CC and it's obvious it can't (immunity broken as hell and some skills are way harder to break free than others), then stop adding CC crap. Between bugs and lag CC is getting out of hands.

    Also happens with guard shield bash: Get bashed, CC break, then watch your character slide away from the guard for 6+ seconds, then slide back towards him for another 6 seconds, and only then do you regain control.

    That one is slightly different, and has been around for a long time. It has something to do with that reverb bash type ability the guards have - the whole time your character is sliding like that, your character is actually physically present in front of the guard - despite the appearance of sliding off into oblivion.

    The knockback bug in this thread is entirely different, and is mainly an issue in PvP where you are frequentley hit with CC's while moving. For 5 months + now, every single javelin and flamereach that has hit me while I'm sprinting has caused this bug. All other ranged CCs cause it in a less severe manner. I've experienced it well over a thousand times now, and zenimax has yet to even comment on it.

    Seen it happen a handful of times to other players in all my time PvPing. Never once had it happen to me.

    Not sure how it's accomplished but I must be doing something right to be avoiding this bug.

    This still happens every time you get hit by a range CC while moving.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno perhaps as we close on a year of this bug being in the game, the devs might consider acknowledging it?
