Impenetrable is very good in PVP. Sadly this makes PVE gear pretty bad in PVP and vice versa.
I propose that some crit resistance gets added to battlespirit. This will make PVP more fun for newer or more casual players that are still wearing PVE gear. It will also presumably open up more build diversity because the deminishing returns from the crit resist will allow the use of other traits.

You dont need to run impen in PvP at all. Sure, its there to help. But theyre are plenty of people that run maybe only 2-3 impen.
Lots of well fitted builds, infused/divines builds (My MagSorc runs 3 infused 4 divines and im nearly unkillable by your average player) and even reinforced based builds.

Oh please join a sub 50 bg with full training. Impen just reinforces the idea that PVP is a completly seperate from the main game and not part of the usual leveling experience.
My proposed change would alienate less new players while not being unhealthy to the game like for example sloads. You dont need to run impen in PvP at all. Sure, its there to help. But theyre are plenty of people that run maybe only 2-3 impen.

Magsorc is just the exception to the rule. Unless you are one or some kind of specialist (for example bomber) you are always running at some impen because without it high crit builds just flat out destroy you.
EDIT: Corrected some spelling errors, sorry not my native language.

Impen is far from PvP only
Unlike Training...
I wish impen gave execute resistance too. Most fights you will have 1/2 idiots just spamming their execute on you so the second you drop you are dead.
