Asylum needed for non pet pve magsorc?

As of now I’m using bsw in front bar, siroria on both and Vma inferno on back with their Mundus and force pulse as spammable and I’m doing pretty good dps for my lvl (cp 410) I also have a asylum with defending trait and wondering I should use that and drop the monster set (zaan) and have bsw//siroria on both bars, asylum front and Vma back? But I was told that only a perfected would make a difference in dps with my current build and even if I get that and 86 the monster set then it wouldn’t really make a difference anyway. Also I’ve tested using MS instead of bsw with apprentice stone and I didn’t do as much dps. So anyway would it be worth it to drop monster set for regular or even perfected asylum? Or what? I’m still semi new to this class so still learning. Also should I use eke weapon from psijic skills as new spam? Or stay with f.pulse? Thanks a lot. I’m just a noob with a ton of questions

Without Asylum staff (What you have now) use ele weapon as your spammable; you will still need a destro ability on the bar though.
With asylum staff (perfected really is Better, but can use imperfect), keep your Monster set, but swap out BSW (presumably jewelry) for willpower jewelry.

BSW procs ALL the time adding that 500 spell dmg on top of siroria. Is getting rid of that in your opinion truly worth using willpower instead? And will the added bonus from asylum staff really add more dps then the lost spell power?

Well BSW has maximum uptime of 66%, so an effective 350 SD. Which is great: use with elemental weapon, get your status effects and fly.
All I was saying, was if you want to use asylum staff, don't use BSW. Use Willpower and monster set, as THAT is Better than 66% of 500 SD.
At the end of the day it's a preference thing, for your bars and rotation.

I just watched a prodnc video and he compared asylum set up with bsw/siroria/Vma/zaans set up and he stated that they both have their own charm and hmhm feels overall the bsw siroria combo is stronger dmg wise, but that’s him. But you are 100% percent right that it’s all preference in this game! Thanks for the reply.
