Change something about CP increase

Hi,
So I don't feel like going up 30cp with every update is the right desicion. How far do you want to go? To 1000? Or even 2000? I remember the day with 500 something cp and it was fine. Nearly every time we or better the high level player get more cp there are people complaining. Even through im over the cap of 750/720? and I should care about it because I don't have to grind, it just doesn't feel right to me.
I know you reduce the xp needed for early cp in exchange for that but if you are honest you know that most players are stuck by a few hundred cps and don't take a major advantage in the reduction.
In my opinion you shouldnt go higher every update. You can basically get all the things you need with the amount of cp you have right now and it doesn't help new players catching up at all.
If we go on like this we'll have every cp tree full because we have huge amount of cps to spend.
Also I played on PC and ps4 eu and I can say that on PC non cp pvp is fine but on console you don't have other options than vivec non cp campaigns are dead so newbies with 200cp (what was nearly the half of max a while ago) now have to fight max cp players and don't have any chance

Make a cap. Go to 750 with next update and stay there.
This is my opinion and I'd like to hear yours.

I know my English isn't perfect but I think you will all understand my point.

I think if they really want to keep increasing it eventually they're going to have to rework the CP trees.

Actually they already had to because cp got way to OP with the amount the players had.

I agree with you. Maybe split vertical (affect combat) and horizontal (does not affect).

Or simply remove the system altogether.

Nah. CPs aren't going anywhere any time soon.

That said, I agree that we are approaching a point where even with CP cap increases, due to diminising returns, they don't really matter. An expansion/overhaul/major adjustment to the current CP system is definitely in order.

Put a top limit and many people like me will exit the game when it is reached. If I can't continually develop a toon then there is no longer a reason for me to be here. I seriously doubt that ZOS wants to tell people, "You have reached the end. Go back, go away, find another game to play."

I would say bump it up to 1200 next patch. I'm not saying that because I have that many points and I want to use them all, I only have about 861 if I remember correctly. I'm saying bump it up much higher no because CP750s are a dime a dozen now. I'm a maxed level player at the moment and I'm not even all that great at PVP or PVE. I hate going in to vet dungeons on Random dungeon and everyone is 750cp and they are horrible. It wastes your time especially if you are gear or achievement farming.

Scrap the current system power divide and make the system less about combat, and more about customization.

    Spell and Physical
Finishers/executions (visual, not damage output like skills & passives) Decapitation, Impale, frozen/shatter, burn/Ash, etc...this is a Mature rated game.
Upgrade to physical and spell visuals (not like this game is, or will be, a e-sport

    Mount, Pet, and Housing
    House capacity, buffs
    Pet combat
    Armor/Visuals for mounts

    Guild perks
    player and non.

Stuff like that. Champ system just creates a huge divide, smaller pool of players for different content, balance issues, etc...

Lol, if they scrap current system then u will get level caps like GW2 etc. I do not like level caps as end pve game players will also not enjoy this either

If anybody feels like i do =

i did not work all these years earning those points to have them go away, what they do must make me happy. <--- sounded bad didn't it? but that's a lot of work!

    1. i would like to have all my points now so they gain more value...even if that means i don't have enough to spend them everywhere.
    2. i would like some stuff you guys said up there, with having the points count for some non-combat stuff. i pvp a lot but i always make sure i have enough for double nodes, treasure hunter, etc! its too fun!
    3. what about just adding more options and trees?

its hardly an grind after you reach cap, you will get over 60 cp between updates just by burning your enlightenment who will happen even if pretty causal.
The Morrowind mega nerf was not fun, at least for us non masochists, anybody wanting more of it, I rather recommend an pillory and an cane as it would be way more fun for us others.
But yes it will probably change down the line, as for now the diminishing return is strong.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

It's called... spread you CP around!! Since it's front-loaded anyway, it's stupid to put anything over 75 into any star that has jump points. Spending 25 points for a 1% gain is just dumb. There are many other stars you could start putting points into, many times I don't go over 56 points and I will start putting points elsewhere.

The CP limit has to keep increasing so that people who were previously unable to do certain content still get a chance eventually. Though in that case we're back to vertical progression and leveling that makes old content irrelevant. The flip side would be that the only way to progress is to "git gud", which will make the game less appealing to people who just don't have time for that.

I feel like ZOS have got themselves a bit stuck with CP. They've built a game that gets people into this mindset of constant vertical progression where many people feel like if they're not gaining points of some sort (whether they're called that or not) there's no point playing, even if they enjoy the gameplay, and then they get bored and quit.

But if they do keep getting more powerful then everything becomes easier and therefore boring...and they get bored and quit.

So they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. I'm not sure the system they have will keep working indefinitely, but I don't know what they could replace it with that players would accept.
I would say bump it up to 1200 next patch. I'm not saying that because I have that many points and I want to use them all, I only have about 861 if I remember correctly. If getting to 750CP isn't enough for people to learn the game why do you think a bigger number will help? People are going to get to level 50 and get their first 750CP without understanding how to play, but then they'll start learning as they get that last 450 points? Or do you mean by that point it would make everything so easy that it wouldn't matter if they knew how to play or not?
