Bring ESO to the Nintendo Switch

If this game came out on switch with potential PC cross play so it's a take your ESO character on the go situation (like fortnite), it would be amazing. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants this. Please Zenimax/Bethesda this would make my favourite game even better to play on the go.

Much more powerful consoles can barely run ESO. As much as I love my switch and this game, this is not realistic.

If the game was downscaled for the switch to allow for performance as was Skyrim I'm hopeful this could be accomplished. This is game.on the go wouldn't need to be as visually comparable as it's PC/console counterparts. Wishful thinking hehe

Accounts are not interchangeable, you can't use your PC account on a console version (Same goes for PS4 playing on X-Box). So playing on the go would be impossible. Unless you want to buy another account, with all the DLC and start over again, just when you are on the go.

My biggest issue with this is thinking back to the months before console release and the dry spell we went thru when all resources were focused on console launch. The game would need a complete retooling to work on the switch for a mediocre at best experience. It's just not worth the effort it would take. And if current gen consoles are any indication it wouldn't work very well.

The content drought that the console release caused had a serious impact on the PC game. I have no desire to go through that a second time.

I still remember the content drought. We got nothing for six whole months. Well we got the glass motif, coldfire siege and xp pots during that time. Remember when xp pots were first introduced? Hovering over the recipe crashed your game lol.

It couldnt run it, I mean I really like the switch, everytime i need a break from eso its zero dawn or breath of the wild I pick but ps4 can barely run this smoothly. Theyd have 5 fps on switch not matter how dumbed down they made the graphics. Its a hand held that plugs into a tv....

Yes

If they could make it work? Sure. I don't have an issue with it. I'll never touch a console Elder Scrolls game ever again. I personally can't play properly without a minimap and it's just not something that Elder Scrolls ever seems willing to add to the base game.
