P.s does anyone use the gossamer set? I always think it sounds good for a pve healer as a way to reduce damage taken, especially on a nightblade healer who has lots of hot's running.

Flanking is one of those sets that actually sounds useful on paper. If i remember rightly though the attack window to get the damage bonus was pretty small. I have an abundance of AP to spare.... i may go get some and test again, see if i can make something decent out of it.

dont you just need to be behind the enemy? in a 4man+ group, that shouldnt be too hard

Originally it would only give you the bonus if you were literally right behind them. If you were off to the side even slightly then it wouldn't give the boost. If they've fixed that then Flanking could be a nice secondary set for playing around with.

Gossamer is that Healer set that was always fun to use in conjunction with Troll King in PvP to make a small group of super annoying players that were absurdly tanky without actually building much into it. Granted, with all the undodgeable skills nowadays, it won't be as useful but I do have fond memories of those days that just might tempt me to dust off my old Resto Staff and try getting a nice little party going in PvP during Midyear and see how much Mayhem I can actually dish out.

Automaton+Flanking+2H ultimate Onslaught= rather large numbers.

It can only proc on one player at a time. Just like combat physican. Both hot garbage.

Better try it with Sword Singer + Automaton + (1p Veli + 1p Kena) or 2p Balorgh (depending on how the buff procs) + 2H Ultimate Onslaught = Much larger numbers

I used to love using that set. Great in pvp.
