Magplar snare removal

I'm new to Magicka Templar (and magicka builds in general for PvP. I always played stamina), and I was wondering what skills I have available to purge snares (such as Talons) in my toolkit. I know of Most Form, but I'd rather not play vamp if I can help it. I've also read that Extended Ritual can purge snares, but it never seems to work for me. Any ideas?

Extended Ritual does purge snares. But if you have 5 other debuffs on you (which is not that uncommon), you might find that Ritual purges those and leaves the snare. Ritual is still one of the better tools in the game for removing snares, though.

You can also run Two-Handed in PVP to gain access to Forward Momentum, which prevents you from being snared in the first place.
