A very simple idea, make one of the ESO+ benefits a furnishing bag, which would work basically like the craft bag, but for furnishings

Why? simple.. some of us are sick and tired of having to clog our banks and inventory [for me personally it's getting to the point where I'm considering going "*** it" and throwing all the furnishings out and giving up on housing all together]

"Why not just use a house as furnishing storage" it's a pain in the ass to do that, plus not everybody in the situation can actually afford more than one house...ontop of that it makes it a nightmare to actually..use the furnishings as it were

Plus, taking the hassle and annoyance out of the whole furnishing storage issue would...well, make furnishings more attractive ans an item option [which known zos means they would sell even more furnishing packs]

Currently, I reserve one large storage chest for furnishings that would be difficult and/or expensive to replace.

Then I get rid of the clutter. Mostly because the sellers market on furnishings this year isn't reliable enough to merit the investment on new ones or saving the old ones.

What I'd rather see is crown store purchased furnishings, crate furnishings, and achievement furnishings count as 0 inventory due to their bound status. That would treat them like collectibles that you're permitted to have multiples of.

Yes to the add-on to the crafting bag for furnishing items. The 2nd paragraph (in the quote) is not logical though. If you cannot afford more than one house, what would you need to store that furniture for then?- Give it away or sell it then. Then, on the other hand, there are plenty of rather cheap houses and it is hard to imagine that someone having a lot of furniture would not be able to purchase a couple of those.

But yes, I am for pushing all the furniture items into the bag as well.

That bag would help my inventory some for sure. It would be also handy if motifs/recipes/furnishing plans would get a section in the craft bag - I don't feel that's too much of a stretch. :open_mouth:

You can sell furnishing even after you use them. I’m pretty sure you can. I’ve not tried it but one of my guilds displays furniture they auction off each auction in the guild hall. They’d not be able to send to other player if it was bind on use.

You can also do like me and use the other junk houses as storage dumps for this furniture. Won’t take up inventory space.

Edit: oh you addressed the store in another house point. I assumed anyone with too much furniture could buy the trash inn rooms etc.

I don't need it myself, but understand that some feel they do. Why, I've no idea - any more than I understand why people need to hold umpteen different sets "just in case", or multiple stacks of e.g. lockpicks. Surely it's possible to craft/place to order rather than having to store loads of furnishings for which you have no established or immediate need?

I assume that everyone who needs more space (for whatever purpose) is a subscriber, and I have no problem with a furnishing bag being provided assuming there's no impact on performance.

If you have ESO+, you don't need a furnishing bag. You already have twice as much bank space, infinite crafting mat storage and twice the limit on furnishings in each home. You have a far, FAR easier time managing extra furnishings than anyone without ESO+.

Suck it up and buy yourself a new warehouse, which you can already store twice as many furnishings in.

Or better yet, go ahead and add the furnishing bag, but remove the limits for non-members. Let them store just as many furnishing items in their homes as subscribers.

I would love to have a furnishing bag.

I plan to buy and decorate some houses and I am just scratching my head here thinking about how by the Eight Divines am I supposed to manage my inventory.

It would be a good business move for Zos to have a bag for bound furnishings since it would eliminate one issue players face when wanting to acquire a new set of furniture decos from the crown store.

It really surprised me Zos overlooked such an obvious issue with housing. With seasonal packages they offer in the crown store it would seem their sales are stifled due to this.

Of course for many of us we are about to get a free 700 slot furniture storage unit but this is not the same.

I wonder what ZOS were thinking of when they made these furniture sets in CS. You purchase a bundle of bound non-tradable items, use some of them to decorate a house, and all other items which you don't know where to place at the moment, will spread all over your bags, bank, warehouses, etc.
Also, what if you have an idea of house design, you're going to pick up this carpets, those chairs, and another chairs, and maybe this and that, because later in the process of decorating you might change your mind, you want to take many different furniture just in case, but... you can't. You most likely will be teleporting back and forth to the house, to the warehouse, to the bank while decorating the house.
One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.

Yep, this would be a big + to eso +. If they implement a "furnishing bag" similar to how the crafting bag works, then I would buy & make much more furniture. I already have a couple of houses that serve as a dump for furniture at the moment, and most of my big houses are already full at 700 /700 cap. An account wide bag would make everything much easier. I wouldn't have skipped on some limited time furniture packs if I knew I wouldn't run out of storage for them.

This would be nice to have... having to store things in another house is a job in and of itself.
