So you don't like people with opinions? Wear your tin foil hat proudly and get off my thread please.

I think trading crown items (real money) for in-game items like gold, materials, gear, etc is disgusting. Just because you have money to blow in real life should not make you wealthy in-game as well. Sure you're not "winning" anything, but you are getting an advantage in-game that you wouldn't have had without paying for it. If you don't have the time to play the damn game and earn the gold/items then maybe you don't deserve to have them.

I have to ask, since you seem to know about these things; please, explain how anyone could *earn* the black lion/leopard/panther/lioness/lion/clouded leopard/dromathra senche mounts. The ones you can only buy in the crown store, for crowns. What advantage does the fact my mount [tiger loyalty senche on my main] roars instead of neighs and snorts give me?

No matter how much gold you pile up in the game, there are a very limited number of things you can spend it on. You can buy houses, but buying houses isn't really "end game". Buying tempers/mats to upgrade gear, yes. Buying the BOE drop items you might want, yes. Still not a huge "advantage" that will let you blow away any opponents with a blink of your character's eye. You are still the one playing; buying tempers to gold out your gear, even buying all the bis gear/weapons on Nirn won't help you if you don't have the skill to use them. What permanent, unable to be beaten advantage does getting gold give anyone?

Simple pay-2-win mechanic. It transfers real money into game goods like gold, services etc.

Except that a lot of the best sets are bind on pickup and require running content anyways. Crafted and bind on equip sets are generally cheap and easy to obtain, and other rare items like non crown store skins you have to complete difficult content for. Undaunted keys are also bound. Most motifs are available in the crown store too, and stuff like buying bank or inventory space is really just a quality of life thing for the most part.

Gold in general is pretty easy to get, so someone trading crowns for gold is really just paying for convenience. Even upgrading two staves to gold is only going to cost you around 50k depending on prices and server, etc, so imo there really isn't anything P2W about the crowns to gold system.

It's a win-win since people with limited time but more external finances can pay for convenience in order to maximize their in game time and players with tons of gold can actually use it on something.

Why use my money if I can use someone else?

People sell skins all day long. Even people in this very forum have admitted to it. Crowns for gold, gifting to a special friend, all of these things are really just people enjoying the game that is a game~

I think it is actually a good thing Zos has done and with the daily rewards I really cannot see anyone complaining~ This is just a case of a sodium overdose~

I wish they would let us sell our houses as well~ o:)

Can I buy crowns in guild store? No.
Arranging trades via pm and p2p trade is lame, easy to get scammed and you need to spend time to do it. Not like there's anything i'd want from mp tho.
If I could get ESO+ via guild store maybe I'd still be motivated to grind and play this game but uh no it got old.
