Maintenance for the week of October 6:

I have not been logged into today but this in what I have come to expect from playing ESO. A game that is very very unstable and unreliable. I have experienced this on so many levels over the years it is almost funny....I keep wondering is this the best they can do. I wish I had something positive to offer but when costumes, mounts and cosmetics get more attention then the games performance it hard to come up with something good to say about the actual game itself.
I can say the the game has given me hours upon hours of enjoyment but since Summerset not so much.
Had about an hour of good performance before being stuck on a loading screen while logging out of a character. After 10 minutes force quit game, logged back in to get stuck at a loading screen to the character select menu. This time it kicked me back to the start screen, tried again, 5 min load to character selection screen and a 5 min load into the game. After getting back into the game I had horrible lag for the rest of the night until I gave up trying to PVP for the night.

Xbox EU and NA, seem both effected by long and endless loadingscreens.
I takes 2,5 minute to port in houses. Teleporting from keep to keep takes around 1 minute. Changing toons in traitors vault takes almost 3 minutes per character to load inn.
And then of course every now and then the server says no, which means your stuck. When you lucky you can force close the game and can log back in under 3 minutes. When your not so lucky it says you have no viable internet connection. (All other online games work fine, it's just eso being a pain in the ass again.)
but they un-stickied and closed the July 6th thread stating its all fixed now......
That's to hide the fact that in this thread they said:
"we’re working on including fixes for these in another incremental patch, but we can confirm we do have an additional patch for consoles scheduled in less than 2 weeks"
and
"we haven’t yet announced the date for Midyear Mayhem, some of you may have guessed a general date range based on this month’s Crown Store Showcase and when the event was held last year. Making sure the game is stable enough to hold an event in Cyrodiil is critical; the current start date will be sometime after the console incremental patch goes live, and we’ll continue to shift the date if we feel we need to."

As annouced: "The Midyear Mayhem event begins on Thursday, July 26 at 10:00AM EDT and will end on Monday, August 6 at 10:00AM EDT."
So we should have had TWO patches before Midyear Mayhem (incremental for performance and additional for stability), as there is none announced for next week (only maintenance) they consider all problems have been fixed..
(that's kind of the case for me, as I now only play to the first bug/crash/loading-to-death. that's 15/20mn of play each day, wich is fine, as my ESO+ budget pays now for Xbox game pass, so that leave me plenty of time to play other games)
