Midyear Mayhem checklist for Zos

Hey Zeni,

Just a refresher for you guys to work off based on last year's midyear mayhem event to help things go smoothly:

Add the appropriate amount of temporary campaigns to reduce the queue to our one popular campaign (on console, not sure how pc is set up, but id imagine they need additional campaigns as well). Do this the day the campaign starts instead of 5 days in, especially if you start it on a Friday. THIS IS IMPORTANT! Vivec on xbox na is already half hour or more queue during primetime.

Remove, reduce, or credit us for the restriction to change home campaigns.

At the end of the event, promptly remove the appropriate number of temporary campaigns.

We're hopeful that your patch actually fixed pvp to make it playable and are looking forward to our one event a year catered to pvp community members. We want this to go smoothly and be enjoyable. PLEASE take the time to prepare the above needs.

Sincerely,
Everyone who asked for this last year before the event started

The category that 'events are planned out several months in advance and being combatant and demanding a few days prior to an event going live won't accomplish anything except farm you a few forum points'.

please take this into concideration prior to mid year if it has not been already, average que on a normal might for ps4 na can be anywhere from 60-100 and last year for this event the que was up to 400

Are you trying to say there's something inherently wrong with service jobs?
They're only approximately 75% to 80% of all US private-sector employment.

So maybe don't disrespect the person feeding the people doing the work that you want to get done.

I respect all service jobs, even sanitation engineers such as yourself.

I also think the OP's comments, reminding ZOS what happened last year and what to look at before making a decision on an event date is very "tactful" as you pointed out.

I 100% agree with all of it. I have brought it up more than once myself. I would like to see this year run much more smoothly than last year. Being that we only have that one time to go off of, I think its natural for some of us to feel like we need to say, hey lets not repeat last year, lets do better this year. Nobody is trying to be a jerk about it. We just do not want to have an insufficient number of campaigns to choose from, queues that go on for hours, etc. We want the event to be successful and fun.

Zos can we get the event extended by 1 week due to all the server crashes that will happen and log in queues?

PS: go ahead and automatically add a week to the event to account for the inevitable server issues

I say they should just run it as-is and get enough fury passed up the food chain to get this game fixed.
