Double purchase?

Hi

I just bought 3000 crowns on Xbox One, and within just minutes, I had twice that much added to my account. I also got two emails from Microsoft confirming purchase, 2 minutes apart.

I submitted a ticket, but support replied I had to contact Microsoft, since this is through their store. I understand that, so no critizism towards ZoS on this.

However, has this happened to anyone else? Not that it's that much money, so not gonna make a fuzz about it, but I don't want this to happen again.

If the order page takes longer than you anticipate and you refresh the page, you will often be charged for duplicate orders. It's best to let the page resolve itself on its own. If it takes a really long time, then wait a few hours for your old session to expire before starting a new order.

This was Microsoft Store on the Xbox. I'm not gonna pursue it, these are crowns I would have bought at some point anyway. Not worth the fuzz to get both MS and ZoS involved. ;)

I've been on the Crown Store with an item I intended to purchase up in the preview panel while my actual mouse pointer was on Something Else. Sleepwalked through the confirmation (more like, I was so excited to be getting the item, I didn't read the confirmation). ZOS fixed it and it's all good.

I had this issue recently. My purchase appeared to time out, as it didn't progress to the confirmation screen, so I tried again. This happened twice more and I foolishly did it twice more. LOL On the fourth attempt I finally received a confirmation screen, but when I logged into the game, I had an insane amount of crowns. All four purchases had gone through, even though only one progressed to the character confirmation screen. ZoS is working on fixing it, so it's no biggie, but definitely be cautious!
