Hi im just wondering if anyone would like to see this at all? Because when im questing i like to listen to the story and get into it but at the same time i feel as if im wasting my exp pot/scroll.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

It would be nice, as that time can add up to minutes. However, I can't see this getting traction with ZOS. It is complicated, and that will make it buggy. That means that it will be expensive, for a relatively small reward.

Considering how poorly developed this game is, don't expect any solutions.

I actually sat down with my Psijic Ambrosia and detailed how much of my 30 minutes I actually get.

    Less than 7 minutes.

The loss isn't only from the NPC dialogue. To/from quest traveling, crafting, and screen loading all eat away at the timer.

This is why one should only use exp buffs when you're in battle, and will be in one for some time: dungeons.

Use your pots during these times:

    1. Grinding somewhere. Dont take the potion until just before you engage the first mob.
    2. Turning in a bunch of quests that are completed and ready.
    3. Turning in Master Writs. Que up about 20 or 30 of these by making the items ahead of time.
    4. Clickfesting a zones main quest.
    5. A world boss tour with a tight group, like in Wrothgar.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Add an option to skip all the dialogue. Like most mmo's have been doing since the 90's.....

TESO is not your general MMO title since 90's (and well, many MMOs actually have good texts). TESO has one of the best narratives in MMO genre, so to skip it would be a total waste of content. There are lots of people like OP who enjoy their time reading texts here.

I would like to see the feature myself, but unfortunately I think it is improbable that it would be implemented. Thus I suggest using xp pots\scrolls only when you are sure you will do exp efficient things like dolmens, skyreach runs etc

I wouldn't consider using an XP booster when questing, simply because that is chill time and I take my time reading the quest dialogue.

If I care enough to maximize the XP booster (rather than just use up the item to get it out of my inventory), I will follow Nestor's suggestions.

Pause for when you’re group queued imo. You shouldn’t be punished if the game can’t match you with other people. Plus there’s always that one guy who never accepts queues and you have to restart 20 times before getting match.

    Left-click...repeat. No cool down.

Not like you can't plow through to the end in 2.3 seconds, even if there are mandatory 'decisions' to be made.

Exp scrolls and potions are pretty cheap, and you get a ton of them from the daily rewards.

As mentioned, xp boosters are not really best for questing. You can do multiple quests though to the point of completion and use scroll/pots to cash in the rewards. Then go for daily random normal, BG or do a bit of good old grinding. The later will give you decent amount of gold to buy you the next xp drink. Don’t forget to max out the provisioning passive to get the extra 20 minutes for each drink.

Personally I like to do questing in a relaxed pace to enjoy the content rather than do it for levelling.

Thanks for all the input guys. I have taken it all in. I think what ill do is what i used to when the game was new to me and just hand all the quests in at the end.

    Thanks alot!
