We all know this is a fun way to spend time. But Black Desert did it better. Implement AFK fishing so I can sell Ambrosia of a couple varieties to yon nublets. Nevermind, implement it just for me and I'll be cool and not tell anyone.

One post proving the need for afk fishing. Hold on guys I speak zenimax's language.

You can sell "fishing passes" in the crown store. (affordable with the monthly crown allotment you get.) The tooltip theory can be like, "you certainly have mastered the art of fishing, you can even do it in your sleep."

Passive or automated design is not considered actively playing the game, so the chance of ZOS even entertaining such ideas is nearly nonexistent.

I afk fish in BDO while active fishing in ESO. :-P

But seriously, the way fishing is set up in ESO doesn't work well with afk fishing. You would be fishing an empty spot most of the time.
