What is the MOST OP thing Right Now (v2.0)

The last time we did this, stamina warden came out on top, with earthgore and stamblades also getting quite a few votes. Let’s see what’s changed.

Like last time, let’s not argue over whether or not something is OP. If it’s on the list, it’s been considered OP by someone in the last three months.

Instead, please discuss the situations in which something might be OP. For instance, master DW bleed might not be very noticeable if you’re in a large keep fight. Discuss the situations in which each of these is strongest, not whether or not they’re actually strong... otherwise the mods might shut down the post

I originally had mag sorc separated out into two categories.. mag Sorc - rune cage, and mag sorc - shield stacking.

I’m glad I condensed them to make room for DBoS. It wasn’t on the poll list last time, but it does get a TON of use.

I’m specifically saving siege for the next iteration of this poll, when the PTS changes go live, making siege strong in CP PvP too.

Poisons are right up there imo. But so are a few others.

DBoS isn't the most OP thing in the world (sloooaaadds), but it's highly overcentralizing. Out of 10 class combos it's used commonly as a primary offensive ult on all of them except:

Magicka Dragonknight (Ferocious leap)
Stamina Nightblade (Incapacitating Strike)
Magicka Nightblade (Incapacitating Strike)

That's not a big list.

Meteor is more common on magsorcs and a lot of stam knights use leap, but both those class still use DBoS pretty frequently.

Dawnbreaker is so good that it severely limits what ults see play. When was the last time you saw berserking strike or lacerate? Meteor is supposed to be the mage equivalent but magplars and magdens still use DBoS since they don't have a blockbreaking CC.

And lets not even mention the poor vampires.

If they were still 60% I don't think there would even be a debate. But 30% increase in cost is still brutal in any scenario. Um... yeah, worse than Sloads even, don't know how anyone can choose Sloads over cost increase poisons. Especially after the proposed changes which are likely only the beginning.

But is it OP? Now that I’m back on Stam DK I’m blissfully content to use leap. Totally sick of using DBoS and if Stamplar or Stam sorc had an alternative, viable class ult I’d absolutely use those. I wouldn’t say it’s OP there’s just not other choice.

Good. It’s horrible right now in no cp. Already we fight outnumbered but now constantly moving through siege dots too.

WTB siege that can only be set up within a certain radius of keeps and outposts. None open field, none at resources.

Why ask the question what's most op when everything on the list above needs to be tuned down or rebalanced in order to reach better balance.
I mean the idea of balancing them one by one is great and will have balance as a result after a long time but with 30 min brainstorming a hamster could find reasonable changes to balance most of those things.

Acknowledging skills like rune cage and incap are OP, my vote goes for Sloads and speaks for several procs right now. It is harder to adapt to a broken tool available to every class, not just the few.


Good list of what is performing best at present, I am curious if anyone would vote for Time Stop if it were up there.

What's broken is the fact that I can use most of that in one build what's stopping me from being a Stam warden using sloads/ duroks/ earthgore/ master duel weild with resource poisons and dbos with spin2win

Also would like to point out that Sload’s and Rune Cage have dropped my last patch’s vote of Stamblades down the list. Without much changing in the class internally they’ve become relatively weaker.

Copious amounts of bleed damage appears on nearly every single one of my recaps. I hardly see Sload's in Vivec. Bleeds, though, are routine.

Mag Sorc doesn't need any CCs, let alone a long range high damege unblockable undodgable delayed one

Overload should be about 25% of its current strength and it should cost all of your ultimate to revert out of it.

No...overload being a third bar is unique to sorcs, please don’t take that away
