Rotation = Soul assault into Rune Cage?

I was just hit with this and thought it was simple and effective, if i can't break the soul assault i have to block or heal through it draining a lot of my resources...

i'll have to equip this on my sorc later...

thoughts?

    If you strike first with this you can still fight multiple opponents. (Sometimes I toss inevitable det in the overload bar to make for more 'unavoidable' damage. I keep trying to incorporate sloads but it's a bad choice in the end).

    You will have the combo up again in short order. Eots is better if you have to engage a group in all, though, and that's better within a group v group setting imo.

    Ive been swapping between engine guardian and shadowrend to proc Necropotence, and rune cage (not any other cc) is what makes the burst so easy to accomplish.

    BOL's penalty lasts for 4 seconds whilst the absorption ball is only 2.5 seconds.

    sometimes I feel like I'm the only player in cyrodiil running a mag sorc who can't get rune cage to work for them...

    I keep trying to slot it and add it in to my rotation, but, I always end up dropping it pretty quickly...

    With the delayed effect of rune cage this combined with curse and fury can be devastating, just like zaan + meteor + cage, at least in theory. After I've survived such combination and killed that sorc, I laughed badly when I've met this guy once again, but this time he was using sload... And died again xD No cheese will help you when you're bad.

    I know, I was just pointing that out for even easier necro procs when you need to burst or do burst defense.
