Can you hide dialogue text on consoles/controller mode yet?

I was wondering if there was a way to do this, as I find I read ahead and it overwhelms me. I like to turn dialogue text off in games as it makes things easier to follow by focusing on the Voice Artist performance.
If there are any ways to hide this dialogue text that would be awesome, thank you
